I can pretty much guess that people who say this have listened only to Skrillex-y sounding dubstep. What most people fail to realize is that

DUBSTEP IS ACTUALLY A REALLY VARIED GENRE IN TERMS OF HOW IT SOUNDS.

Much of the popular dubstep is what you're describing, however. Also, I bet many people who "hate dubstep" have listened to several dubstep tunes that they enjoyed and didn't even realise it was dubstep.

Grunting/pig squealing ("screaming") actually takes a lot of practice for it to be right. Just like how some people need to take classes to learn how to sing correctly.
He's also generalizing every type of metal that's out there. That's like saying all kinds of EDM are the same. :/
