You got Ddosed.

IRL, it should hardly effect hardware whatsoever

In here, if you have no firewall, your hardware basically goes boom.

I think the clan got ddosed because the hardware is dead too. Shame :/

I think this game is like an extremely fast evolution simulator.

At the first 2 days it's "Upload heartbleed, get money"

After that it's "Upload their own viruses and hide all of their stuff!"

And now it's "Ddos them, make them SUFFER!"

jesus christ, what has the developer done to this game

jesus christ, what has the developer done to this game

I think the point of the game is at the beginning everyone just needs to build up their stuff as fast as possible and hack as many as possible so that in the end Hacker world warfare can happen.

This webgame has inspired me to make a closer-to-realistic equivalent.  It keeps the elements of not teaching wannaba script kiddies how to actually hack, but it also moves closer to a realistic environment.  Once it gets to a halfway-finished state I might make a thread for it.

People are either DDoSing the level 3 NPCs or the NPCs are absolute stuff because they have absolutely nothing and their hardware is terrible, so steal software is a really bad mission type to do because their internet is so bad.

what tghe forget happened to the server software

Next time, when the server gets good, you guys NEED to install a good firewall, firewalls protect against DDoS's.

Firewalls will only protect against DDoS attacks if you've taken the DDoS Security certification in the University.
