The Great Bao wakes from a terrible dream of things to come and travels to the Navaro province to seek council from ancient ruins recently unearthed nearby, after hearing news of a great evil depicted in the hieroglyphics which reminded him of his vision.
The Great Bao beseeches his brother, Honorable President Dyon Kim, to place the military into a state of alert. He points to depictions in the ruins of a great daemon that had once dominated over the natives of the region with an iron fist until being banished by the united efforts of a long lost band of heroes.
Dyon Kim feels that Wei Kim Bao has let the pressures of his title go to his head, and through some sort of hero complex is attempting to create a non-existant threat.
The Bao gathers a select few of the most advanced Alchemists, Engineers, and Astronomers as well as several Tei gifted in translation, and creates an emergency defense-of-the-nation guild which begins to investigate the ruins and their entombed mythologies which may shed insight into the trials ahead.
In front of the Bao, on a temple altar appears a black smoke, and a voice fills the Bao's head.
The Bao remains in a trance for three straight days without being able to be disturbed dispite the best efforts of his companions and completely neglecting food, water, or even sleep.
At the dusk of the third day, the Bao awoke from this state in a terrible freight. After being calmed by his associates he began to relay a tale of how the whole world began to burn at the hands of three great evils, and only through the combined efforts of the people were they able to fight the monsters but still many lives were lost.
In an effort to spare all those whom had perished due to the rage of the daemons, the Bao had consulted every method of wisdom and science known, and came across a method to restore the world to its rightful state, however such would cost the Bao greatly. While hesitant, the Bao had executed this secretive plan, and turned back the tides of fate, thus himself perishing in the future that never was.
The Bao was greatly joyous at his own survival of the ordeal, for he thought surely his life would have had to been taken in this world as well. He returned to the capitol to share his great news with his younger brother, only to be met with a city stricken with grief over the loss of their great leaders.
Despite his best efforts, his brother Dyon Kim had died after a terrible bout of pneumonia whilst the Bao was investigating these ruins.
After the ceremony commemorating the life of the great president, The Bao pulls aside his nephew in a private meeting to discuss his visions.
As there would be no threat from daemons as told in the prophecy, the military would not need to be put into the state of alarm initially planned, however Wei Kim Bao insists that Honorable President Wau Lis'ei-Kim Kai heed the messages of the prophecy and seek to reestablish ties with foreign nations.
Diplomats are sent to the Oriental Crowns and Ezbatu to reestablish non-aggression pacts and discuss the possibility of trade between the regions.
