Okay guys, so I'm going to be busy pretty much all day tomorrow, so I'm doing the REs today.

Random Events No. 17

Lotavik:  With the monarchy gone, many Fydorsmen decide they want no part of the new government and there is dissent, some violent, in the West.  (POL: 30%)

Ezbátu:  The Ezbatan military is able to end what little violent rebellion there still is after the general agreement by protesters to handle this nonviolently.  It seems like for now, diplomacy will decide the fate of the nation.  (MIL: 60%)

Atenisia:  Riots again pick up after a prominent cleric is assassinated.  The Ateni military is able to stamp it out and push into the West where the calls for a new state and revolution have been strongest.  Many zealots and rebel militants leave Atensia for Romicia where they attempt to form zealot compounds.  (MIL:  90%)

Avalonia:  In Nazgar, a coup d'etat overthrows that Avalonian Council.  The coup comes from within the Garrison of Nazgar and several divisions of troops dedicated to defending Avalonia.  In the violence, multiple members of the Council are killed, and those that remain are forced to flee.  Upon hearing of this violent overthrow, politicians and divisions of Avalonian troops throughout the Union are forced to choose sides.  In a short but bloody civil war which takes well over a million lives, pro-Council forces are crushed.  What remains of the Council and armies and many civilians loyal to it have fled to Siderland, the only place where pro-Council forces were able to achieve victory.  The Union breaks up into independent states, with a Cassian dictator in South Calzone, a new King in the Britonic States, West Gerand merging with East Gerand, West Plexia under a new King, and Gehendenland under the control of a dictator.  War continues as the new Avalonian government, a technocratic military dictatorship, attempts to unite the Union.  The Adrian Ocean colony establishes a republic and declares independence. (POL:  0%  DOUBLE: -50%)

Galaumia:  The Three Crowns attempt to force Galaumia to join their ranks by cutting off any and all contact from the West.  Three Crowns armies move to the Galaumian border to enforce this.  Prices rise for many things, including food, and the Parliament is sent into a state of panic.  (NPC:  0%)

Caprica:  Nothing out of the ordinary here.

Hlaohamarr:  A raid from barbarians to the North is successfully pushed off, and the Hlaoman military invades their homeland and takes it with few casualties despite the great strength of these men.  (MIL:  80%)

Auria:  Sordelands requests a non-agression pact.  (NPC:  60%)

Espovon:  The island that Espovon has been interested in accepts rule by Espovon, under the caveat that they be allowed to handle their own finances and collect taxes themselves, as they fear possible abuses by tax collectors from Espovon.  (NPC:  80%)

Rēsugurētā:  Warriors from Rēsugurētā are able to successfully invade lands to the West, taking the land from a sparsely populated and weak state.  (MIL: 70%)

Ru'sh Naal:  Wereu warriors are able to attack and destroy the old Rustuffe capitol, killing its inhabitants and making off with a great deal of food, timber, and some Baoist artifacts and many books salvaged from the remains of the academy that was burned down.  These soldiers have been able to hold the city against Rustuffe troops, and many Rustuffes just want to give it up for now.  (MIL:  10%)

Galaumia:  The Three Crowns attempt to force Galaumia to join their ranks by cutting off any and all contact from the West.  Three Crowns armies move to the Galaumian border to enforce this.  Prices rise for many things, including food, and the Parliament is sent into a state of panic.  (NPC:  0%)
Um, I was always going to join the Three Crowns. I was waiting for Swat One to send me an invite. Maybe you should coordinate these random events with him, because this event doesn't really make sense. The plan was for me to join them all along, thats why I opened up trade and sent them gifts to open relations.

excellent

the island is sent more gifts for joining the empire

Atenisia begins a campaign against the western Atenisian states, formally breaking the cold tensions and starting a civil war against the heretics of the West, hoping to once again reunite Atenisia under one government and one people.

The current king dies of oldness, and his son is put in place. He leads the campaign.

Unlike his father, he is a more dedicated and passive agressive king. He hopes that Atenisia is ruled under one government that rules of Cassian faith. But of course, you can be non-Cassian, just not a heretic.

We should coordinate them, yes.  That the case, alterations are in order.

Galaumia:  The Three Crowns attempt to cut off all Galaumian contact with the outside world, blocking trade and communication, and enforcing this with troops at their borders with Galaumia.  It seems apparent that the nations wish to disband the Galaumian government and divide up the nation among themselves, even going so far as to kill every Galaumian and just taking the land.  (NPC:  0%)

The dictators of Marivus and South Calzone form an alliance.

More detail on Avalonia, I guess:

Turtle Island has held fast against rebel forces; loyal Avalonians of Avalonian and Belanese have used the island's fortifications and siege engines well, but it's unreachable by the Council Government, and it has no way of contacting Siderland.

The surviving members of the Avalonian Council:
One military leader, two economic leaders, two technological innovators, one outstanding and educated citizen, and the representatives for Avalonia, Siderland, and Gehendenland.

The population is around 1 million in a densely packed area with almost no farmland.
The army and navy combined contain around 125,000 troops from varying regions and divisions.

The Council Government is basically broke right now since the troves and coffers of the government were mostly in places the Council Government no longer controls.
Siderland has to import a lot of food and to pay for it, has to be producing or exporting something.

The Council Government asks for aid from Gungixao, mostly in the form of food.  After all, when it was powerful, Avalonia did offer to back it up if the Rustuffes attacked.

The city at Ru'sha is handed over to the Wereu in a final peace arrangement, The Wereu immediately found their new capitol at the city, as there was still quite a bit of infrastructure left that needed only repairs before being operable, and the city is then renamed as The Seat of Bao by the Wereu, however many still coloquially refer to it as Ru'sha (being the translated as "The City on the Ru Coast").

What remains of the city Daijoua is converted to the new capitol under Navaro authority and the Union of Ru'sh Naal begins coordinating efforts for reconstruction of the surrounding areas, and work begins to convert the almost empty Navaro Mine into a new and more fortified academy of sciences to hopefully accelerate the recovery of the nation's previous academic  excellence.
Not much money is able to go towards the school on behalf of the Daijoua government, but loans are given from Teijina in return for partial ownership of the Navaro Kai Academy.

Many citizens are encouraged to do good for one another and the nation as was the original will of the founding Bao, that by working together, they can accomplish great things. Messages of peace of cooperation are spread by Tei whom still claim allegiance to the currently missing Roussaeu, and most Tei end up giving what remains of their own possessions to the state so it may redistrubute them as necessary to the populace (and neighboring countries in securing more directly usefull resources, such as livestock and metals).

At this point given the no-governing-multiple-countries-rule I think its becoming increasingly obvious these entities are working on seperate governmental systems, so I will create the final map of the divisions between Daijoua , Wereu, Teijina and Mawahe provinces. I guess the one I will choose to continue will be Daijoua as that is the most direct spiritual successor to Ru'sh Naal.
The new flag of the Ru'sh Naal Union:

Such are the flags of the regional states:

Mahowaeae:

Galaumia:  The Three Crowns attempt to cut off all Galaumian contact with the outside world, blocking trade and communication, and enforcing this with troops at their borders with Galaumia.  It seems apparent that the nations wish to disband the Galaumian government and divide up the nation among themselves, even going so far as to kill every Galaumian and just taking the land.  (NPC:  0%)
Galaumia asks why this is occuring, as just earlier trade was fine between all and there were going to be arrangements for Galaumia to join the Three Crowns.

Random Events No. 17

Rēsugurētā:  Warriors from Rēsugurētā are able to successfully invade lands to the West, taking the land from a sparsely populated and weak state.  (MIL: 70%)

Atenisia offers to aid the Council with supplies.

They did house the government of Atenisia for a while.

Back.

Hope it's not dead.

The Three Crowns make no response, but intelligence which manages to sneak through the borders indicates that the religious and political structure of the Three Crowns is changing, and the governments within it are attempting to solidify their power through war.

West Plexia reunites with its long estranged Eastern brothers, overthrowing the king and establishing a very limited parliamentary system.  Once again, it is a united Plexia.

The Council Government accepts Ateni aid.

The Council Government sends some ships down to mainland Avalonia to bring back some things.  It is hoped that the Council Transcripts, National Accounts, and large sums of money may be brought back secretly to Siderland.  Many of the documents have been lost or destroyed, but enough money, as well as other things such as books from the still standing Library of Nazgar, have been brought back to stabilize the government's position a bit.

To accommodate more and more refugees from both the former Union states, Ezbatu, and the various states of Ru'sh Naal, the Council Government orders the loyal armies to reorganize under the same system Avalonia's army has always used with the existing troops.  The army seizes land along the coast from barbaric tribes that have been preying on refugees, and the navy takes the island in the middle of the gulf from people of a similar ilk.  Housing and fortifications are built on these lands, and the Council Government attempts to ensure peace with its neighbors.

A plague rips through Siderland, claiming around 65,000 lives.  Quarantine procedures for incoming ships are enacted forcing ships to remain isolated for two weeks before coming in contact with anyone.  The same plague also strikes mainland Avalonia, and hundreds of thousands die there where the people are also packed in and fighting amongst each other, before it finally runs its course.

The Provisional government of Lotavik, hearing of some violent opposition to the breakdown of the monarchy, instead begin drafting a document limiting the powers of the King and passing them to a newly formed parliament. The King and all nobles are held as prisoners in the palace. The provisional government is living in the palace at the moment as well.

Atenisia begins to send food and other necessities.

They also supply communional bread and wine to those Avalonian Cassians who are unable to do such due to food sortages.

Due to the plague, however, Atenisia is VERY cautious and simply sends empty row boats with as much supplies as possible on stretches of open beaches and lets the waves deliver the goods.

The Academy of Kai sends their condolences to those lost at Siderland, however has no availble medical practicioners to send at the time due to recovery efforts currently in effect.

The nation pledges to donate medicine to the Siderland as a sign of good faith and comradery, however shipments arrive sparingly due to Ru'sh Naal not having enough money to ship regularly through the Teijina port, and the Daijoua port still being under construction.

Civilian populai in the Union are asked to help in the facilitation of redistribution of food and resources during this recovery period. Instead of the regular state payouts for crops, at this time all farmers will be able to submit work requests from the state for goods and services required so long as they maintain their steady input of goods to the nation of Ru'sh Naal.

There is still no word on when official elections will be held or who is exactly representing the Union at this time, however many Tei and Kai have assumed roles in leadership, backed by civillian endorsement due to their popularity amongst locals or prestige of wisdom or service.
