Espovon informs Avalonian that if they need help later they will ask for it, currently the resistance appears to be medium and slightly unorganized.

Avalonia will be happy to provide aid should Espovon call for it.

A University is to be constructed in one of the newer sections of Nazgar.  It will feature glorious architecture and subjects of study will include astronomy, astrology, mathematics, engineering (construction and mechanical), philosophy, medicine, languages (reading, writing, and speaking in German, Celtic Languages, Nordic Languages, Greek, Latin, and English - Eastern Languages to come in future), music, warfare strategy, etiquette and honor, and alchemy.

Scholars from The Vålderesk School travel to Nazgar, interested in the new school showing up.

The fortress at Xianxan is finished, and named "Sa Verlyc no sa Ciano," or "The Fortress of the Sea."

The palace at Vålderesk is finished, only at the prescribed budget before the union of Ezbátu was completed.  Because of recent inflation at the budget lock that the Ezbatan Council set, the palace was not completed as elaborately as planned.

Those who appear to display a propensity for any subjects to be taught at the University are offered a free education should they desire, so long as they are willing to teach one subject for each free one they receive.  As a bonus and to facilitate their ability as teachers, those who accept will be taught the German language free of charge prior to the opening of the University.  It won't super expensive to study at the university, but free is always better.

Ongoing tunnel work under Nazgar reveals the presence of an existing series of roughly hewn tunnels about eight fathoms beneath the floor of the existing network (this was discovered as a newer tunnel intersected with a staircase to these ones).  In one of the vaults in the "New Tunnels", an old Belanese flag is discovered hanging from the wall.  Upon investigation, the tunnel entrance is found to be a trap door in the wine cellar of a tavern formerly owned by a rich Belanese family which returned to Belania following the formation of Ezbatu.  The current owner of the tavern denies being aware of the tunnels' existence.  Further exploration reveals that the tunnel network linked with the businesses and residences of several Belanese families that repatriated to Belania around the same time.  Most of these entrances are sealed, and the New Tunnels are mapped out and integrated with the existing network.

Ooo spooky.

Some scholars agree, but those that do agree offer to help kick start a humanities department for Ezbatan culture should Avalonia find interest in contributing the difference, at the very least, offering the languages of Ezbatan, Erinamese, Nizol and Katori.  Other classes include Ezbatan rhetoric, art, music, philosophy, literature, and an emerging field of Eastern Alchemy.

The University accepts on the languages, but would prefer to simply have universal classes for the others and have Ezbatan aspects of these taught alongside that of other nationalities/ethnicities/cultures.  (I knew I forgot something, art, of course; art's taught too)

muwhahah no one will ever be able to speak my language except for me and my allies
muwhahahahahahah

Yeah but we have Universities.  B)

Wait, if ethnic Avalonians were on that Strait for a very, very long time, wouldn't have they just been called citizens of whatever country they were on, since some of them just set up home and had lovey time with natives?

Finding the soil and climate of Avalonia bad for growing many of the crops, especially fruits, that Avalonian traders have acquired, a stretch of land on the continental side of the strait connecting the Sea of Atensia with the Southern Ocean is settled to farm these crops.  Local peoples are happy to lease the land out for a portion of the produce, but many Avalonians petition them to allow the construction of fortifications as a precautionary measure.  The natives respond by ensuring the Avalonian farmers that they can handle any threats and will pose none, and do a little extra training of their army.  The Avalonians are wary, but continue with their ventures.
Those fortifications proved to be a very divisive issue.  The locals fared that the Avalonians were trying to take over using the fortifications, and also that the presence of ethnic Avalonians was to facilitate a future invasion, but still viewed Avalonian farmers as a potential source of income, which did happen.  Fortifications were constructed by the Avalonians during Atensia's war with Albiton, much to the worry of the locals who did semi-unwillingly give permission.  Tensions generally prevented mingling in an intimate nature, and as time went on, the tensions only grew.  Only lately did the distrust overcome the love of revenue that the Avalonian farmers were able to bring in.

Can I have a list of all christian nations?

I think you've already recruited them all to create a Cassian Catholic population of ~3.9 million.

Hearing that Ezbatu is in possession of a city state where there are massive trade opportunities, Avalonia quietly sends traders and merchants through the Argent-Dabo Road -> Caprican-Auria Trade Route -> Romician Roads -> Spice Road (via Spice Road, which is less direct, in order to avoid any fighting between Romicia and Ajakstan) where they set up shop, offering superb glasswork including containers and beads, as well as Avalonian jewelry and other things that require skills which Avalonians have honed for aeons.  Copies of books, scrolls, and other mstar fishcripts from far off places translated into local languages are also sold.  Fine Avalonian weaponry and armor of steel is sold, where possible, to Romicia, in hopes that they will take full control of  more direct routes to Zesoister and improve Avalonian ability to maintain a trading presence there.  The entire operation is expensive, but it brings back stuff that Avalonians haven't encountered before including larger quantities of silk, more and different spices, more and more varied foodstuffs and livestock, and even more foreign writings.

This flood of foreign writings prompts the Library of Nazgar to be improved in such a way as to accommodate a larger volume of volumes.  The works contained within are temporarily removed while additions and improvements can be made to the ancient structure.  This opportunity is used to revisit the works within and to do some categorization and organization of the books and scrolls.  It also reveals that some works have deteriorated in quality, and so fresh copies are made based on the originals (kept in a secure, dry, well lit location) and modern information are used to produce fresh copies.

This improvement, it is hoped, will allow the University of Nazgar to be better equipped to educate its students, and also just plain old improve the library.
