Curious traders in Lotavik hear of a non-Cassian Christian religion, and bring the talk back to Atenisia.

IMO it isn't really fun for the time to pass so quickly in this day and age. Not really any room for immersion.
Couldn't agree more. It's hard to keep up, and as soon as you know it there's more innovations and you can't really get a feel for the enviroment as it's consisently changing so quickly.

Ezbatan tradesmen headed for Kantauem turn around and spread the news of a city in flames.

no posts for a whole day wow
step it up guys

Atenisia has seen an even spread of the Balkan/Greek and Latin cultures in its areas, but Latin still remains dominant in the country as a whole, but in the east, the Balkan culture is still prominent excluding Athens, which has become increasingly Latin.

Utilizing ancient Winouak migration routes, Lue Zei begins plotting out settlement sites for potential mining expeditions. Several deposits of ore are found in the mountains to the north and work begins to clear away a national mine and quarry.

Quote from: Taijin Bao
"The key to the horse leading itself is not only putting the lead in the horse's own mouth, but teaching them how it will pull."
Bao founds the Ru'sh Kai national college with the intention of a sustainable educated democracy. A call for scholars begins and all enscribed and informative materials are asked to be brought to the capital for the good of public knowledge. In order to facilitate the formation of the school, one member of each declared Rustuffe household is allowed tuition at this school, in exchange each family is taxed relative to their household's output, local excess food stores taken for use at the college, goods and materials for the use of graduate endowments.
Founded are the schools of Agriculture, Mining, Ascribing, Astronomy. Successful attendees of the schools are granted by the government funds to initialize their own farm or mine. In the case of Astronomy graduates and Scribes (the number of applicants being limited) they are sent to work at the palace of Bao to offer as advisers to the court of Representatives.
Bao's popularity with his follower's grows.

Upon agreement from the parliament Rustuffe ambassadors depart for Ezbátu and Ashibia to offer the exchange of Rustuffe lumber, gems, and foods in return for mercenary soldiers and weaponry.

Cassian Avalonians, finding it increasingly difficult to improve their social and economic standing and finding their neighbors increasingly unpleasant to them begin to emigrate to Albiton.  Others congregate in almost entirely Cassian towns.  Some revert to the native religion and are able to assimilate back into Avalonian society.

Avalonian merchants nearby Kantauem observe the horror.  Some attempt to pile up dirt along the wall in order to form a ramp so as to be able to help those inside.

Avalonia begins work on a road from its colony to one of Haman's cities in order to facilitate trade between Avalonia and the Four Crowns.

Avalonia sends out an envoy to Espul to talk about the possibility of a political marriage, specifically one including the Crown Prince of the Britonic States and one of Espul's more prominent princesses.  Another envoy is sent to Marivus to talk about the possibility of a political marriage between the only daughter of South Calzone's richest family and one of Marivus's more prominent princes.

Avalonian merchants nearby Kantauem observe the horror.  Some attempt to pile up dirt along the wall in order to form a ramp so as to be able to help those inside.
When the men finally build the dirt ramp and end up inside, they discover the fires are confined to specific areas of the city. In areas not affected, men wearing uniforms different then that of the regular Galaumian army stand watch, guarding them. The palace is also taken over by these men. They wear a patch with AEIU on them, a curved line going under the letters. Who are these mysterious men that have taken over the capital and burn the lands?

The Avalonian traders are dubious regarding this development and suspect a coup d'etat, but they're not soldiers nor representatives of the Avalonian government, so they don't do anything about it.  Instead, during the middle of the night, they sneak up into the mountains and hide their wares well before returning.  When they return before dawn, they send out a group including some of the first to cross the wall to report this back to Avalonia.

The wise Teijin Bao was peacefully strolling down the shore one afternoon to see some Kastwata clansmen conversing with a group of unknown native looking peoples. Upon getting acquainted with these folk, they told of how they come from islands far off shore to the west. These natives have become quite the wayfarers and begin to enlighten Teijin upon the way the water in the ocean moves not only in and out with the tides, but in a great river that connects all lands.
He asked how they survive so far out to sea when there is so little warning of gale or storm.

Interested in learning more of how this great navigators so predicted the wind and tide Bao asked for the bravest of volunteers to depart into the oceans and plot their course so that if they return the nation may benefit with their knowledge.
Construction has begun on a new unproven design of raft by Lue Zei. In the mean time basic maps are beginning to be drawn based on the tales of these sea-folk.

The Cassian Avalonians establish an official diocese, and pour their efforts into erecting a small cathedral.  Under a new bishop, the diocese begins by solidifying the current region by preaching within the bounds of this region.

They Also draft a flag and send it to the Avalonian government for approval.  In a letter from the bishop, he states that he wishes for the followers of God within this region to still be loyal to the Avalonian Government, and that this region either remains part of the Avalonian mainland, or Avalonia recognizes it as an entirely seperate, but still loyal state, much like the Britonic States.  This is left up to the Avalonian Council's discretion, but he stresses that the Christians need more recognition and hospitality in order to call their homeland truly their home.  Several families have already grown apart because of this, and the bishop points out that a nation that will fail to facilitate its people's own will will surely grow weak.  Whatever honor it may try to uphold, it is a dishonor to itself to turn a blind eye to its own solidarities.

The Ezbatan Council receives the Rustuffe party, and brings them to Sånyeta, where they are treated well.  The Council meets with them the next day to ask what they would like to discuss.

The Rustuffe Ambassadors thank the Council and bring forth samples of fine lumber and precious stones of intricate carvings as a sample of their nation's craftsmanship. They offer a yearly installment of deliveries of such goods for production or otherwise in exchange for a temporary force of trained soldiers for a period of the next thirty years. They believe this deal is mutually beneficial for this would reduce the regular cost of a guard for Ru'sh Naal until an independent defense force may be established, while at the same time supplying Ezbátu with sturdy timber usually inaccessable and expensive to transport to the region. The Lapis Lazuli, Garnet, and other stones are to pay the wages of the soldiers for their time of service, as well as a base donation to Ezbátu for their generosity should they accept the deal.

The Ezbatan Council, rather than accepting this offer as is, motions to extend it, by letting this deal occupy a total of 75 years if Ezbátu sees the first 30 years equitable and beneficial.

Additionally, The Council also requests that any and all maps of acceptable travel routes be exchanged.

The ambassadors thank the council for their generosity and agree to publish their first cartographic findings.

The great Teijin Bao has retired from his post as leader of the of the nation and becomes head scholar of the college of Ru'sh Kai. Secretary Lue Tien takes over as leader for the nation until the first elections can be conducted. Tien begins work on a national electorate system to facilitate the ease in choosing the nation's next official leader. Rona Kai has succeeded as secretary.

The insightful Lue Zei unveils his new pontoon style raft, capable of maintaining a crew of twenty individuals with supplies for several months. Twelve of these crafts are released into the Estic ocean, each on on a different course, riding the flow of the great river. These crafts are also asked to take with them charts of the sky that they may find how accurate predictions were over the positions of stars as they travel the seas.

The popularity of Bao ever increases. Nanakanai, a recent Titchwahkan graduate who studied under the illustrious Lue Zei, is commisioned to start work on the Grand Palace of Bao on behalf of the people as a thank you to their glorious leader. The strongest stones are chosen for the structure, and the most beautiful embedded work made from tiles of polished Jade, Lapis, Turquoise, and other precious stones.

The Winouak begin calling for a representative.

Whilst Rēsugurētā continues to recover from the ordeals of its previous mass sickness induced loss in population, the lesser clans along the borders take it upon themselves to seize more surrounding lands- the most prominent of these clans being Hajimasa clan, whom promised that amongst all the veteran samurai deployed, those whom seize the greatest amount of land from the tribals and wilderness would be promised appropriate amounts of land based off the amount seized in whole and from there a surname; the latter of which granting nobility, as simple folk in Rēsugurētā are without surnames as to distinguish them from the nobility, often making for a good bit of confusion- but it is a ruling still in place. With these events in mind, many veteran samurai in service to the clan of Hajimasa to seize the amounts of land, some of which even clashing against one another as to ensure that they'd gain the reward. Despite a note worthy amount of land being seized- the Hajimasa family have, as they said, put a 'hiatus' on the samurais reward, and with the passing of months and even years, restlessness is beginning to brew within the settling Samurai within these new lands, amongst themselves and the clan of the Hajimasa family. Some clans, such as the Ai clan and the Sato clan, have embargoed the Hajimasa and regulated their borders, for the safety of the people of their own lands and interests. Meanwhile, the other three clans that had participated in the seizing of new lands, the Kaioji, Kerosawa and Onamata, don't encounter restlessness due to not being idiots and not making promises they can't or won't keep.
