I also didn't see anything in the Op as to what the specifics of the match would be, ie: Stocks? Time? How many Stock/Time, Omega maps only? No items? Is it one match or best out of 3? Who decides what map we play, do we come to some agreement on which map/maps we'll be playing beforehand?

Personally I feel like how it should work is:
3 Stock, Items are enabled except for a select few that are really cheap, Omega versions of stages, the players choose their characters "home" stage I guess and the game will pick whoevers stage it is.
