My manager, Greg, invited to me to come tour around Games DB. I only got to demo Halo and Kingdom hearts 2.

Holy stuff Kh2.

That being said I didn't get to test the crew, how was it?

Sorry if I sound stupid, but was there Fallout 4? Or has that even been announced yet? Or do they even do that at those game thingy's?

nope and nope

how inferior was aw to tittyfall
Very, to the point that Advanced Warfare even tried giving players mechs. I much prefer Titanfall.

does FC4 compare to FC3?

what are the major changes?
The demo we had was one mission where you could choose 3 different approaches; "Fly" (you fly a gyroscope with a grenade launcher and stealth pistol (?)), "Stealth" (you have to find a way into the base using a sniper rifle and a crossbow) or "Ride" (you ride the elephant through the front door and use a shotgun and chaingun).

I'd say this game is on par so far, but it's really hard to make a proper judgement without seeing a lot more. To land when you jump out of the gyroscope in the air, you have to first activate your wingsuit and then eventually use a parachute, which most players didn't get. One of the most common things we had to do too was teach players how to grapple since nobody could figure it out.

But yeah, being only a tiny snippet, I really can't say too much at this point other than it was pretty fun, even if I only saw 40 people (out of the thousands who played it) actually finish the mission.

what was the crew like
SOOOO much better than last year. It's actually a really fun driving game. While I didn't get to try customisation, I was able to watch one of the devs give a demo to a press member about it, and from what I saw it's far more indepth than most arcadey-racers.

I think I might actually get The Crew now, although you really need to have a crew to play with, as the singleplayer sucks (I don't they they balanced it well for when you only have one player).

How was Unity?
The new features, such as the non-linear approaches to missions (they give you a list of potential targets, and you can then choose who and how you complete the overall objective), the updated free-running mechanics (specifically "free-run up" and "free-run down") and the incredible detail of Paris...I think I'm finally interested in Assassin's Creed again. I really want this one.

We didn't unfortunately get to see co-op play, but I'm assuming there's enough footage of that now for you guys to be able to judge that.

Nope. Bethesda only showed off The Evil Within this year. As for announcements, I think most game companies still consider EB Expo too small to make proper announcements at, or they more focused on having playable demos that players will recognise and want to try out.

the division?
It's tactical, it's open world and it's got some pretty cool gameplay elements, such as some unique weapons, tablet integration (normally I hate tablets, but this time it works kind of well) and the ability to see ghosts (a bit like BioShock, but this time they're static, giving you a single frame to kind of piece together what happened). They've also said that they're not going to bunker the game down with huge chunks of story, instead using a lot of the world to visually communicate it, which I'm already liking.

So, even though it unfortunately wasn't playable, it looks very very fun if you have a group of people you can work well together with. That said, I'm not sure if I want this or Evolve more.

i'm probably still going to buy it though WHOOPS

Is The Witcher 3 everything we've always wanted and more?

Yes.

Actually, if I'm honest, the graphics on the PC version weren't as rich as I hoped they would have been, but since it was pre-alpha and was already running 60FPS and CD Projekt Red seem to have more love for PC gamers than any other studio in the world...I think Witcher 3 is going to turn out perfect.

Thank you sir, lol. I'll still probably wait a few days after launch to make sure its running alright, but still, good to see that it's doing fine so far.

Have you talked in your blog about how you started working as PR for Ubisoft at these events?

The only thing I'm doing is making a "game" about my experiences. I'd rather keep my blog separated from my PR work in case I come out with any scathing opinions that could threaten me getting a highly desired position.

I was just wondering how you got into that line of work, lol.
