Author Topic: Masculinist/Feminist Megathread- COEXISTENCE IS ABOVE ALL  (Read 7199 times)

The idea of trying to achieve equality in a society by focusing only on one gender is stupid. I don't care which gender you want to be, but don't complain about it.

I'm a maskulinist. Banks and public stores are banning me from wearing masks inside their premises. This is an outrage!!

I feel like my SJW thread was a bit better thought out that this.
I lost it though

yeah but... if you have two pails of water with different levels of water, and you want them to be even, you can't add water to both of them. feminism from it's inception was focused on women's rights because they had less water in their pail- they were being oppressed.

equality is a noble cause, but if something is unequal in the first place, you can't level it out by just adding.

girls get way too much freedom now days

I feel like dress codes have the potential to be misogynistic but they serve a purpose. They should definitely be relaxed in many areas

Dress codes can be implemented in a non loveist way, and probably should be. There are reasonable boundaries of attire that should be enforced in a school environment, but I think that they're much wider boundaries than we usually enforce. We don't need to eliminate dress codes in schools anymore than we need kids showing up in gimp suits to class.
I suspect that the key is to avoid too much gender specificity in the actual wording of the regulations. If you can describe the problem behavior with minimal reference to love, you're a long way to making your rules fair.
Stolen from a reddit thread, I definitely agree

I can't walk around at school in short shorts, so girls shouldn't either. You want equality, you got it.

I found America to be unique in this regard (amongst first world countries). Europe (Germany, England, France) have a much more lax mentality in regards to nudity.

Just have school uniforms, and have them be the same for both genders. (save for sizing and stuff, obviously)
I'm serious.
