So this one boy who goes to my school, i happen to know his sister, was having his b-day party at his house. They were swimming. Overall, they were all having a great time until he got out and touched the metal pole thats outside of the pool and got shocked. He had to be tacked by some guy that was there since he kept grasping onto the pole, not on purpose though. He got airlifted and he had to be put into a coma so he could focus on healing. Anyway, i hope he does get better and all but what i mostly wanted to say is, i think my school is making a pretty big deal over it. We had an assembly with all the grades (3-8th) in the morning and at the end of the day we had sort of another mini-class assembly, and then they told all of the grades (once again 3-8th) to take some pink paper (because pink is his favorite color i guess) and make 'prayer cards'. We all had to write 3 or more paragraphs about how everything is gonna be okay and stuff. and some girls were like "lets pray for him" yet it's already confirmed he's gonna live and he doesnt have any brain damage from it,so i dont see why they are prayingor why anybody prays about anything in the first place wow you really read this small text if you get offended by it dont blame me you brought it upon yourself by reading it
Do you guys think they are making a bigger deal about it than they need to or am i just being pessimistic?
(although, out of the best, i really am glad that he is alright)
