Author Topic: thank you based apple  (Read 2196 times)

ive been having issues with my battery life being reaaaaally short (like 1% for every 2 minutes of screen time) so i contacted apple support about it. i wasnt eligible for the free battery replacement due to a manufacturing error, so i was gonna have to pay the $79 to get it replaced at an apple store. so i asked really nicely if they could waive the fee and THEY DID so now all i gotta do it take a little drive to an apple store and have them replace it all at no charge
thank you based apple

My brand's phone doesn't give me issues with battery life.

If Apple was based, they would have a decent warranty program to cover faulty devices.

If Apple was really based, the battery wouldn't have been faulty to begin with.

every day though my sister complains about her brand-new iPhone always needing to be charged and not working right.

>expecting any other phone to have a 0% failure rate.

You're being unrealistic.

You're being unrealistic.

But they definitely have a lower failure rate  :cookieMonster:

So have all of mine and I buy apple products. Anecdotal evidence means nothing. A small percentage of mass produced items will always be made faultily, that's why quality control exists. Quality control isn't perfect either and sometimes issues arise only after years of use on some phones.

The battery on my laptop is 6 years old and still lasts 2+ hours. E: My mistake. I assumed Apple laptop.

Also lol @ a warranty that doesn't even cover 2 years. Apple stuff is expensive enough. You'd think they would at least guarantee the quality of their products for a reasonable length of time.

Loads of people don't like apple and just want to say that their particular brand of phone is #MASTERRACE over all others, I guess.

They don't have to. People buy their products anyway, why would they cut their profit margins for no reason?
