3D fallout 1 and 2
3D Top-down Turn-based shooters! I actually would love that.

Look at the RTS genre and all the CNC clones. There isn't a whole lot you can do there except for mimicking Wargame and the Total Annihilation/Supcom series. Suffers from a disease known as MOBA.

This is so saddening...

theres still a few good games coming out soon like Binding of Isaac: Rebirth.

but yeah theres definitely not nearly as much stuff that catches my attention as there use to be.

Plague Inc. Evolved is a real good game
idk why anyone doesn't play it, it actually is a realistic simulator of a plague
Also pretty fun. I'm addicted to it lel

the whole thing is basicly free on the phone, and besides, there is no population growth

3D fallout 1 and 2
A future turn based Fallout could benefit from an xcom style cover system with the Stand, crouch, prone poses of Fallout tactics and the core aspects of fallout one(looting the dead, looting ammo from dropped weapon, bartering, talking, tell me about, multiple approaches to solving a problem, weapon firing modes).

FPSs: How many Doom, Quake, CODs, battlefields can we make with new and exciting features that aren't gimmicks? Not many. Close to beaten to death, can be improved in scale(large player battles, however we are limited by the technology of the time).

What I've wanted from FPS games for a while is a game with the speed and gory combat of Brutal doom, the large scale battles & environments of Halo CE, and the crazy weapons of Ratchet and Clank.
