every 2 weeks

problem is, we don't know what to buy
we don't really eat vegetables due to texture issues, so it'll be hard to do stuff like soup or casserole.

Don't do fast food. Buy bulk stuff like cereal.

Heh, I wish i could do that here. Cereal is $4 a normal sized box here. I remember when the big off brand bags of cereal were cheap and gave lots of cereal. Cant do that anymore sadly.

Ok

How much do you guys spend on rent/mortgage per month, do you know?

Obviously I have no idea how much you spend on these things, and I don't really know if these prices are reasonable or not, but that's essentially everything you listed, plus rent.

Also, once you figure out how to spend less on food, try bringing a lunch to school if you can?

EDIT: Just saw that it was every 2 weeks. Ok, that's a bit more understandable, but still totally possible for you guys to survive fine.

My budget almost works that way. But it's color coded xd

if you don't cook at home, turn off gas.

like what?

Ok, so here's the price of what we get:

Gas: 29.22
Insurance (Farmers): 100.01
Ameren (energy): 200.00
AT&T: 152.86
Charter: 160.00
Rent: 730.00
Shoping: 105.04 or more or less

We get child support of around 100.00, but as you can see, stuff gets really stacked.

I don't know how we manage to do this.

remove cable, internet, and cell phones.

how are you spending 200 a week on electricity

how are you spending 40000 a year on rent

how are you spending 153$ a week on phones

You guys pay ~$1400 a month in bills.
You guys get paid ~$1860 a month.

Not including Child support or shopping, you guys have ~$460 to spend each month, half of which should go towards food.
Is there ANYTHING you are missing?

we leave our cable boxes on, we sometimes forget to shut off game consoles, we leave our PCs on, we almost leave everything plugged in like phones and everything, we have charging docks for controllers, a electric oven, a fridge, and a bunch of other appliances

you know where i'm going with this

i could check again, but i'm certain that is what goes down

i don't know, could be every 2 weeks or a month, not sure

Its got to be monthly. There is no way any of those charge you each or every 2 weeks.
