LG G3 vs. Galaxy S5 vs. Nexus 6

So this Christmas I'm getting a smartphone (2-year contract expires), and I'm pretty much torn on which one I should get. Some people have said to get the iPhone 6, and some people have said to get the LG G3. I am by far more familiar with iOS than Android. However, I don't know how large of a role that should play in this decision.

What do you guys think?

nexus 6 is pretty overpriced. the nexus 5 is pretty awesome for a year old device, which i got instead of the nexus 6.

To be clear I have an S4 but I know from handling other people's S5's it is very nice
