Both are good.
Do you like platformers? Pick Spelunky. Do you like dungeon crawlers? Pick Rebirth.

Or if you REALLY cant decide, buy both.

I've played both, and I would recommend this game over spelunky.

is it just me or is it easier to get no damage in the womb than no damage in the depths

I'm on a 10 game losing streak ;-;

and it's moslty because of the cellar

the only times ive been able to win, or at least get close, were with the flying demon whatserface character

how much does this game cost, anyways?
i gotta start doing commissions to get some cash

i got tammys head on the cathedral, that run too

Died to Isaac with about an 8th of his health left

Shame too, I had Brimstone, flame tears, and Bandage Girl

Ive always had an issues playing as dead baby. On the original it took me forever to beat the game with him.

EDIT: I found out that bobs brain goes from a run killer toa  run winner. Just have Pyromaniac. Not only odes it not hurt you, it heals you. Also, pyromania and ipecac, Pyromania and epic fetus
i dont even know why i never thought of it, but Pyromania is actually op. It would be even more so if enemy explosions didn't hurt

EDIT 2: Scratch that, pyromaniac is now my new favorite thing. Just got to boss rush, got Ipecac and Bobs brain combo (plus vampires charm)

Also in the fight i learned that not a single explosion can hurt you, except of course creep explosions.

I don't feel like anything is really OP, because after Cathedral/Sheol the new bosses are like 10 times as hard and so are the rooms preceeding them.

Looked like I was going to have a good run.
Callus in the first room, then I got Number 1, Pentagram, a pretty fly pill, and a meat cube, all in the basement.  Then I hit the caves and got to the first item room.

Gave me the dead onion which lowered my range down to nonexistent levels, making me unable to shoot enemies without taking contact damage and I died in the very next room.

in my run that I went to the cathedral with I got the syringe that randomizes your stats, and it gave me only like 3 bars of speed, 2 bars of attack and max range when I had Technology 2 as my main damage source :\
