Do you know if you can buy it on contract? I did see it, and it looks great, but I can't drop $650 on a phone right now or in the foreseeable future.

Bump. I assume I can't, right?

The Moto X is really good, and I think I will be switching from my horrible Galaxy Rush to my brothers old phone (Droid Razr Maxx) today. Yay!

Ordered this a couple of days ago, should ship to my house by the time I go back for break. Great thing about it was that I ordered it on Cyber Monday and got I think like $100 or something off the on-contract price.

What do you guys recommend I should do to get adjusted to the switch between iOS and Android? I'm going to have to re-buy a stuffton of apps, I know that, lol.

If you're getting a new phone, get a flagship. Why would you ever settle when you can get the best? I personally own and reccomend the LG G2, however the G3 is their new flagship so if you can, go with that.
The G2 and 3 and forgetmazing cameras, flagship specs and love screens. The battery life is pretty stuff unless you put a rom on there, mine barley lasts the whole day at school (moderate use, 7 hours).

you'll be thanking yourself for not getting a loving iPhone

1. Technically speaking, the Moto X is Motorola's flagship.
2. I just spend $1k on a new computer, not looking to buy the best, most expensive phone.
3. I already ordered it, lol.

My iPhone's been alright, I just don't find it being of much use besides being a phone and an internet surfing device when I'm bored.

Moto X was a good choice. ;)

Well the MotoX is a pretty good phone for extended battery life. If I recall, it has something like 3-4 processors dedicated to doing their own thing (polling notification doesn't take 69 cores at 4 ghz) and has a amoled screen which doesn't light up the blacks on screen. It's also a lovey looking phone, so don't slap a huge case on it. My G2 is so fat because of the otterbox I have, but its worth having it to not break my $600 phone.

Here's hoping so. :P

I've had a case on my iPhone since day one, and I think I'll probably leave it off the Moto X. I'm pretty careful with my devices.

I did like the dedicated processors working on different things, I think there was one specifically dedicated for Google Now voice recognition, which could be cool. I don't know, just needed something to get myself off the Apple train and something close to stock android seemed like a good choice.

why not continue with the new iPhone series?

Not a fan of some of Apple's business practices, plus I use so many Google products that I figure moving to Android won't be too much of a hit.

because they bend in a way they weren't designed to.
