The 'sudo' command does not install packages. It gives you root access. With root access, you can modify any part of the system you want.

Steam is not a device. It's a video game distribution service.

If you're referring to the upcoming steam machines, then you're wrong. They will come with SteamOS which is based on Debian I think.

I mean if you buy something you don't really own it, steam can remove your game whenever they want fr whatever reason

While what you say is true, Steam has always been very reliable for me. While they can just take your entire library away, they wouldn't.


EDIT: I didn't know this until now, but SteamOS is open source.

I doubt it. "rooting" means gaining root access on an OS where that's not allowed. Bluestacks is just a compatibility layer for mobile apps on Windows. Not an OS.

I don't know for sure though. You should google it.
