We're not saying a fetus isn't a human, we're saying its not a person yet. Until you're outside the womb and the umbilical cord is cut, you're still a fetus, and therefore you have less rights to life than an infant.

are we arguing or providing an opinion that does not appeal toward a debate

extremeties on both sides seem incredibly prone to endlessly arguing
conclusions come only from compromise
but will both parties fall upon similar views
unlikely

the only thing that both sides agree upon relates to the distaste they have for the opposite perspective

too many variables exist to effectively define terms and establish a reliable process

I agree. We should revamp this whole "arguing" thing.

Usually the people doing the actual debating never have their opinions changed on issues such as these. The on-the-fence people who are watching can definitely shape their opinions on these arguments.
