Author Topic: Armed black teen shot and killed by police  (Read 5723 times)

Wasn't Andrew Jackson shot right next to the heart, but he still shot a guy to death while the bullet was in.
Either way you either hit a bone or puncture a lung, depending on how deep the bullet could travel.
He put his hand over it and got his shot in, and then another afterward.
Not everyone feels that kind of mid-duel adrenaline and would likely fall over. Or he could've just been that tough.

And you have to consider the guns they were shooting each other with compared to the guns we use today.
It was kinda cool though.

Sure, you know exactly what you would do while rationally thinking. In the heat of the moment, you can only think for a split second. There's no telling what you'd do.
Well if I was a policeman in a place where criminals usually carry guns, I'm pretty sure I'd know what to do.

It's not that easy :v

Cops are still human. If they're in danger they still experience the same fight or flight thing everyone else does.

It seemed like he had malicious intent so I don't see why people are protesting over this one.

I just said what I'd do.
slammer explained my point pretty accurately.  I'm done arguing with you because you've proven that it's impossible to reason with you.  I honestly can't tell if you are trolling or just logically inept.

The point is that statement was stupid.

And try shooting someone after being hit in a vital and tell me how that works, lol.
I looked up what it feels like to be shot in the chest, and this was what I got, a firsthand account of what it feels like: https://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20110415083936AAunxbm

Personally, I don't see anything that would prevent you from pulling the trigger within the first few seconds at the very least, especially if you're damn determined to kill.

You think that by that description anyone would have the ability to think clearly, and do nothing besides fall to the ground?

Let alone fire a shot from on the ground with all of the different pains he just claimed to have experienced.
lol wtf
I think he's talking about this:

Umm

They could've made a shot that wasn't lethal?

Maybe in the arm?
are you serious
like somebody else said, your arm has a major artery going through it, and even if you somehow miss that you'd still probably forget up a vein, and end up leading them to die if not treated correctly

I would have just wounded him.
hey guess what shooting somebody = wounding them
it doesnt matter where you shoot them, it's still wounding them, and no matter where the shot is it's going to be lethal.

breaking news, snaked, this isn't rescue-the-president's-daughter where you shoot up the bad guy leader's leg to get the CIA to arrest him while he's alive

I just said what I'd do.
you're completely dismissing cheese's point

if you don't know anything then dont talk about it

i cant even tell if the camera positions are the same, it looks like each shot is a shot of a different place

you're completely dismissing cheese's point
the very reason I gave up trying to debate him.
