Playing war thunder,i only got 1 tier 2 plane and its a US fighter.

In-game Name:CRITAWAKETS

tiger i is best tank
no exceptions

I noticed it's taking some people years to get jets and that scares me

how many of you that have jets are willing to tell me how long it took you to get them

until you get up tiered and thrown into a mixed battle against tiger 2s and is-2s.

I have british jets and 1 American jet.
By far it seems Japan's are far easier to get than any other countries.
You buy prem and grind.

You buy prem

the downfall of all mmos

they always cost hundreds of dollars in order to reach the endgame because server costs

I honestly wish they would reconsider their market. Turn it into something like "Congratulations, You've reached the 100 kills required to unlock the next plane".
Same thing goes for attackers and bombers, but replaced with aircraft/ground targets or just ground targets.

And for management and costs and server bills, allow the player to buy the next plane but each time you buy the next plane the cost goes up a little.

i honestly think this premium system is fine compared to other systems, but still not really the best. lions and research are awarded at a decent enough pace, and tier II (and some tier I) planes are fun enough and accessible in only about 1-3 days of gameplay. you get a decent amount of premium points to start with as well. at the very least, premium currency is not needed for progression at a decent pace (where it seems like the player is getting somewhere with the work they put in), which is the number one requirement i have for a passing free-to-play model
