Halo wars was iconic for an xbox rts. Mount and blade can be considered an rts seeing how you can use that drop box thing to add ranks/positions/move troops around.

The X-COM games are amazing. Dwarf Fortress is also pretty damn fun. But I'd guess Dwarf Fortress is more like a management game...

Buy a copy of Warcraft 3 and practice, WC3 is the best game to learn from imo.

imo company of heros should be in the op since its the same guys who made 40k

its a little bit like company of heroes but better in a bit of ways imo

theres also a ton of mods for it that make it even more better
