This will be your best bet

I personally use milkytracker and audacity because I'm trying to become a music magic wizard but I do not suggest doing this at all

Audacity is absolutely terrible for music. It's only good for simple edits, and basic EQ.

simple edits for simple music ¯\_( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)_/¯

edit: I should clarify that I'm desperate for a free alternative to audacity

I NEED it

DO use audacity for:
mixing and mastering music
editing music
recording things for music (such as vocals)
DO NOT use audacity for:
making music from scratch

REAPER. It's very good for basically everything, but especially good when it comes to editing actual audio.

Oh god no Id never use Audacity even for mixing or mastering. Applying any effects to tracks in Audacity are applied directly into the file. You can't tweak anything after the fact, you'd have to CTRL Z it. Full fledged DAWs use FX systems that allow you to tweak EQ and other effects and VST's at any time. It's overlayed, instead of applied. Makes it easier to EQ as well since you can have live previews/loops of your edits.

I have Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, should I use something else?

If you got Photoshop you should be set.

what exactly are you trying to do?

pianos, paper and pencils make great music creators

Make an album cover. If your talking about the song I'm making an electric party kinda song.

most people don't have years to spend learning piano.

ontopic: I Use mix-craft. Although that's pretty basic and close to trash-ware. you are best with FL Studio. Most folk who make real good music use that, and I think it's also used in professional music production.

FL Studio 11 or Reaper

I'm betting money once you get these music programs you will just use them to show off and not really make music of your own. You did ask if there was anything for modeling and yet have no evidence of progress with it.
