So where does this hatred come from? If you allow me, a selection of quotes from a topic not too far into the past. I highly recommend you read the entire thread for yourself, as it is filled with so much stupidity.

I noticed that he was asking for the impossible to make some Doctor Who fan series so (aggressively, I admit), I call him out on it. Then it goes to hell.

Maybe you're slightly stupid, but do you know how difficult and time consuming animation is?

Not hard at all.my school computer has a animator on it.its not the BEST one but its a start.

So that people know the post that tipped him off, this is it:

The forget.
So, because your school computer has a program on it, that suddenly makes everything soooooo easy? Have you ever done animation? As in, a properly keyed out animation at a specific framerate? Do you even know what keys are, or timesheets?

Animation is not simply drawing 6 pictures and calling it a day. The reason animation studios hire cheap labour is because they need lots and lots of people to be able to draw the huge amount of frames that normal animation requires. Even your tiny little stuffe project will require an enormous effort, ESPECIALLY if you want to include backgrounds and effects.

You're also forgetting that you need:

• A Post-Production Editor
• A Sound Editor
• An Animator who specialises in lip sync

But that's not all! Firstly, the audio; how do you know that everybody's voice acting will be consistent? If two people have different mics, that ruins the quality of the audio side of the animation. And everybody is using their Xbox 360 headset, people are immediately going to turn away. You need to give them high quality mics and a proper recording studio; the environment they record their dialogue in will affect the quality of the recordings.

Also, do you even have a proper script, budget or any idea of what format you want these animations in? Are they 20 second shorts, or 1 hour marathons? What type of animation do you want? Is this going to be 2D or 3D? If 3D, do you have the models that are properly rigged, skinned, painted (weights) and have correct licenses? If 2D, do you have reference material, such as concept art and character sketches? Are you using twos or threes? Do you even have a clue of where the plot starts (your first episode) and where it ends (you final episode)?

I hate these "fan-projects", because they're a waste of time for everybody involved. Don't do this, kid. Find something more interesting to do, such as studying how to actually animate. Maybe you can learn how to be a damn good animator, and turn that into a career.

daracer64 (BL_ID 4843) is a known twat and is blake1's cousin, daracer should have left the forums alongside is pathetic cousin but refused not to and stayed here to insult people. This person is probably 9 years old and what I find really weird is why he added 2 things that Alternative had said in his signature, Alternative wanted to know why but daracers explanation was "Because its funny!" please point out how the following bellow is funny?  




That is what is in daracer's signature this shows me that he obviously is just a kid, but what he shouldn't be doing is spending his time on these bloody forums and swearing at people you don't even know. This is just another problem user who thinks he is the tough when by swearing at people, if he does this in real life to everyone he knows than someone needs to teach him not to.
