I'm not sure what the point of that list is

Most of them aren't available for free anymore because they were from some promo from like 2010 and the few that are should already appear in your library if you log in

I like gog's practices over steam. At least with gog you are paying for a game that you actually own and it's usually drm free. On the other hand with steam you are paying for a license to the game, but you getting automatic updates and various other features out of it.
