huh, i was wondering why blockland was updating on steam
anyways, nice update, ill love that camera relative movement and datablock limit.

The server list is at 23 servers wtf bad

Only the latest version shows up on the list.  It takes a bit for people to update their servers.

Why did you remove AIConnections? They were very useful doing things like modifying the environment without an admin being on the server. Many mods are going to break due to this.

Are you going to implement full .ifl support for modders in the future?
It's not downloaded to other clients but from what I tested it works perfectly fine

Oh, and another thing, can you have an optional "camera snap" for zelda movement? So the camera snaps to the direction you're walking in.

Okay, this is the most amazing thing that has ever happened. Many great things have taken place this day.

Changes:


  • Sky object network update size reduced significantly, should fix bad packet when changing environment settings rapidly
No more lag when admins spamchange environment? Whoohoo!

  • Light list in wrench gui is now sorted alphabetically
I've been waiting for this for ages, oh god yes

  • Partially typed chat messages are now preserved when going from the loading screen to game
So when I spawn it won't clear my chat from the loading screen that I was trying so hard to finish typing before I spawned? :D


  • Delete buttons added to save/load bricks GUIs
No more need for tht one old add-on(:

  • Addressed crash exploit related to NetStringTable - I've attempted to fix the actual bug in the class, rather than detect and filter bad traffic.  Hopefully this works.

  • Client disconnect/CDROP echoes now show player name
Now I can see the name of the person who disconnects in my server console? :o

  • When ghosting, unghosted objects are now prioritized.  This is to address slow loading when there are a lot of players/vehicles moving around.

Yes, this is great. Having the bricks move relative to the camera will be super useful when build high structures.
Also that ghost limit mean the brick limit has been increased too right? Either way seems pretty good along with everything else.

Been testing things out, and noticed that this seems to break if super shift is active.
