that's why you do it on your mobile network, not the school's wi-fi. i got smarts for that :)

And what if your mobile network disables it? (Like the ones in the UK...)

Source?

i don't think they can do it in the us.

i still don't understand how my school network works
I need an open port for my next semester summative for programming class. the thing is every port is blocked, unless its like an http connection, whatever the forget that means. its so annoying. every single port is tightly secured like a nerds underwear, even locally.

my school has been doing this since always

iirc i heard a story that someone googled the process of performing an act or terrorism. the fbi came to the school.

image sites, research sites, 4chan, video sites, forums are about all that's blocked at my school. They don't block BLF or reddit though. and I think puush is unblocked as well.

Blocking websites in school is some of the most inefficient handicapped stuff ever. I don't understand why the teacher can't just do their loving job and watch the kids and make sure they're on task.

Somebody's salty that they don't get to browse willy nilly on the internetworkings

The school pays for your free wifi, kids browsing stupid websites during school hours costs them money

So now instead of just not letting kids use the computers at lunch the kids now can't go on half the sites they need for research due to how loving broken the blocker is.

Don't put off research to the last minute then :v

uhh, what's a library?  :cookieMonster:

My point being that if you have to research a topic, you're usually given the time to research it.
