i wonder if I can upgrade to windows 10 when it comes out, then install windows 8.1 on another computer and upgrade that to windows 10 and so on...

just direct upgrade windows 7 to windows 10

windows 10 is free for a year

I'm the minority that actually likes the windows 8 start screen
does windows 10 have the windows 8 start screen, I've only seen small tidbits of windows 10 and I don't feel like digging though videos to see

It includes an option to expand the start menu to a fullscreen windows-8 style start screen
