That has no Bluetooth, speakers, or camera
Let's up the price to $1000 then, and that's being generous. Still a better value.

it's not all contained in one unit on top of your desk.
Why does this matter, in computer terms?

it's not attractive
Why does this matter, in computer terms?

it's not an iMac.
Why does this matter, in computer terms?

But most importantly, it's not attractive, and it's not an iMac.
No, most importantly if you want to modify an iMac you have to be a god damn genius to not forget up.

lol what is this, just because its not an I.ad means its bad?
Yes, that's exactly what I'm saying. (Just kidding, it's not even close)

Uh, because that's what some people want. It seems pretty obvious to me.

Modifying any Apple product defeats the purpose of having it in the first place.

Ooh yea, that second one is more hot without a doubt.

were your pointing out my typo or...

By that logic, let's all get a mini van. They are very spacious.
Or maybe a smart car. They are very eco-friendly.

No, forget that. I want to be in a fast, good-looking car that I am not ashamed to have in my driveway.

It's kind of senseless to compare these two things.

What? No.

Just for the record, I think this is ridiculous. There's a difference between paying a few hundred more dollars to have a pretty computer, and making a decision that will affect your life in a serious way for a decade or so based on aesthetics.

Oh, I thought that was a close-up of the camera.

It's kind of senseless to compare these two things. What? No.
okay, then what was the point of bringing up that it wasn't an iMac?

Oh, I thought that was a close-up of the camera.
No, that's the entire computer.
okay, then what was the point of bringing up that it wasn't an iMac?
Well, it definitely wasn't to say that everything other than an iMac is bad.

Modifying any Apple product defeats the purpose of having it in the first place.
You're right, Apple products are meant to be bought, thrown away, and upgraded with new products.

I was bringing up an brown townogy.
Crispy was claiming that aesthetics shouldn't affect your choice on buying a computer, I think it should and very much so.

Why do you think you see Apple laptops used in public places a lot more than PC laptops even though the amount of PC laptops bought is much higher.

You're right, Apple products are meant to be bought, thrown away, and upgraded with new products.
Bullstuff.

Apple products are known to last longer. My IMac ran fine for 4 years without anything more than internal-dusting and keeping the hard disk clear. It would have gone on for much longer if it weren't for me leaving it in direct sunlight in summer and having a connection fry. Much longer. I still boot it up every once in a while to recover old files.

I don't know if this is sarcasm or not, but basically, yeah. They're fashion accessories, that double as (still pretty effective) tools for whatever computer stuff you do.
I was bringing up an brown townogy.
Okay, but it was a bad brown townogy.
