I have vague memories of this one sonic game

I think you played as a team. and one player controlled that team. I think you could play as Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles in one of the teams, and Amy, Cream, and someone else i can't remember(see title). i think it was a PlayStation 2 game or a GameCube game. and i think it had a multiplayer mode where you race through an obstacle course.

espio did have a pretty cool tornado attack

the ps2 game had poor collision and some other horrible bugs
the gamecube version wasnt so bad, and the game is mostly fun to play. though there are some issues with the game i dont think its terrible.

Sonic and shadow had the same tornado except shadow's was black

Espio made a ninja tornado with pot leaves and turned invisible

Edit: just remembered this is the game where we figure out sonic is half of Amy's age.
