I just don't see how you're making any sense.
You fail to make any sort of point as to why sneaker resale is bad business, so the feeling is mutual.
As for the $300 mill ebay made on shoes? If I bought a pair for $10 and sold it for $10 thats no profit for me but it looks good in stats that the site sold $10 worth of shoes.
It clearly says sneaker resale market in the article but ok.
But how many of those sales can you account for? Most shoes you will find browsing ebay are brand shoes that are expensive.
also to clear this up it terms of bare averages:

the amount averages at $128 per pair sold. Seems more than just regular buying and selling of regular shoes.
