Cuba begins to erect oil wells in Colombia, along with factories for processing the oil into plastics and fuel. New housing is built and farms are enlarged as well.
Cuba also modernizes Colombia's military forts and opens recruiting into the Cuban army to Colombian citizens, although it is not compulsory.

Heavy naval guns designed for the Granadero class battleship are also installed in coastal fortifications so that Colombia is no longer as hilariously defenseless navally as it previously was, however this concept is also adopted in Cuba so that the nation no longer needs the direct support of its navy to have a solid coastal defense.

Trade docks in Colombia are expanded thoroughly and a few military docks begin construction as well.

The Spanish Civil War, an impending storm and so-called "dress rehearsal" of the Second World War is on the horizon. Francisco Franco, the radical fascist leader of the Nationalists will vie for control against the left-wing Republicans for control over the former empire. Aiding either side in the conflict will net you an extra technology every day, giving you 3 techs to research a day until the war ends. Certain nations, such as Japan, are considered out of range and cannot participate in the war.

With new factory equipment from Japan, further advancements in research and significant government funding, Argentina's industrial sector explodes in activity; 90%~ of all industrial complexes are being renovated with new technology or already have.

Due to the industrial boom, construction of the de Plata class of light cruisers is far ahead of schedule. The first 4 have been completed and 4 more are near completion. Additionally, Argentina's first class of battlecruiser, the Virrey class, has been ordered. Two keels have been laid down with another 2 expected to be laid down in the coming months.

Externally, diplomats have been dispatched to Uruguay and Paraguay to discuss plans for a possible alliance. Additionally, Argentina's government applauds Chile's Fascist Party but requests that it attempts to come to a diplomatic resolution with the Chilean government. Wary of civil war on its borders, Argentina's newly mobilized National Guard is seen moving towards the western borders on the Andes.
