Reinforcements have begun arriving in Jujuy and Chaco, primarily to Forts Formosa and Posauas. Argentinian railroad guns are being moved to both areas along with nearly a dozen armored divisions. A runway is being constructed at Fort Formosa while the airforce base in Posauas is very active. Trenches are being established in both areas along with minefields and machinegun emplacements.
On the other side, the first Virrey class has linked up with Argentinian naval elements near Tierra del Fuego, and Argentinian forces are nearing the border. To complement the still present artillery barrage, Argentinian airforce elements have started to attempt to establish aerial superiority over Populist forces. Radar stations are being constructed near major Argentinian bases.
