The future is in academics, stay in school kids.
College is flawed in my opinion. General Ed needs to go and college needs to be free. In this day and age a high school diploma isn't good enough and the average joe needs a four year degree just to stay an average joe.

You go there to specialize in one area, but they make you take all these general education classes so that you can spend money on classes that you didn't plan on taking. There are only two general ed classes that I find useful and that is English and Math for those wanting to enter the science/engineering/business world.  For example the job I had in mind involves more writing and driving around.

Fees are also loving high, unless you get financial aid. You can get a loan, but lets face it the interest is to damn high and you accumulate more expenses to enter a field that pays slightly more than your old fast food job.

i DON'T WANT MORE SCHOOLING

unless it's vocational training for electrician work.

Without labor, no pay. No pay means people are buying things. If people aren't buying things, then how are corporations supposed to make money?
if all the jobs that could be done by robots were done by robots, we wouldn't need money. people could just get the things they want, and do the work they want

And then we can focus on science and art

College does need to be free, but forget no General Ed is needed. Even if most things aren't used by a person, it's all about the practice which helps you cope better in further education. Also, what you decide to specialise in will also use everything you've learnt in general education for that subject.

I meant general education as in high school, the government pays for that. I'm assuming you don't have to pay for general education classes in college if you've already done so for the subject you are studying for in high school?

In UK, the general equivalent of what I think college is would be sixth form, and that is free. University is sorta like even further education above college but that needs to be paid for.

Art?

art?

robots stole our art and science
we have nothing

if all industry in the world is robut then that means we don't need people to do that kind of labour so everyone can focus on being astronauts instead

then we can send robuts to pluto and repeat the cycle

would having robots make them slaves tho
like think about it, they probably wouldn't get paid man

It doesn't help that textbook companies absolutely loving bleed college students on new editions with, like, a single new question.

but you know it's gotta be out of desperation, cus once textbooks become completely digital it's gonna be over for those companies. there's gonna be no sustainable way to privatize their information.
