Requiring 24 hours won't help and I realize that now. I've said it before but the only way we're going to get better wardens is if more people have experience playing the server so they can figure out different things to do with the prisoners and then others can learn from the wardens who've got it figured out. It seems like it's just going to take time to get the server in a better state. That's why I'd like to host as much as possible but how the server currently is code wise I feel uneasy leaving it by itself.
After I have gotten the code to a place where I feel it's almost bug free I will code in a system and I've mapped it out like this:
All admins+ will be able to join the server while it's passworded and have the ability to "open" the server.
When the last admin leaves it will start a 10 minute timer to shut down the server unless another admin connects.
The idea behind this would be an admin would join and host for a couple hours and then maybe find another one to continue, I'd want the admin to host for a least 2 hours or work with another admin that could.
Also I have added /startVote for wardens and admins which lets them have a server wide poll for everyone to vote on. Warden can use it for games, admins can use it for admin stuff.
I made /skipWarden too for Admins+ which is self explanatory, skips the warden to the next one.
As for the /voteSkip for skipping a warden, I'm with Brikichu, people would just skip good ones or do it anyway. People tend to hop on the vote bandwagon when they're presented with votes.
Oh and I'm sorry we couldn't host the past two nights I've been busy but I'm hoping to host on Wednesday and Thursday.
