"On the subject of Eremit though, have you ever see him... Happy?"

"Do you miss their company?"
: No.

"Huh," Jaakko responds, "I don't know his name, I think he was Imperial."
He pauses.
"That was probably him,"
And again.
"What do you do all day? You don't get deployed anymore,"
: I do not exactly have a schedule. It is mostly just whatever I can do to stay out of the way. For a while I was consulted on matters involving renegade holdouts on your continent, but I have not been approached about that in a long time. I think you have already killed them all off.

"On the subject of Eremit though, have you ever see him... Happy?"
: Now that you mention it... I don't think so. Of course, it's hard to read an expression when half of it's covered by that thing he needs to breathe.

"I mean what do you occupy yourself with- I don't imagine you're allowed off base,"

"I mean what do you occupy yourself with- I don't imagine you're allowed off base,"
: Weights are a useful distraction.

Jaakko looks to Gus.

"She's just like you," he banters.

Walter thinks to himself for a moment about Eremit then speaks up again

"I'm not sure what to fully say about him, other than I feel bad for him."

"Some vices are more interesting than others," Gus says sarcastically with an easy smile.

"The stitches don't help, though. I feel like I've been in the medbay more than I've been out of it lately. I think some of the doctors know me by name now."

"I've noticed something similar. PT and the likes seems to be a form of stress relief. I didn't really notice until I got shot and couldn't do much," Jaakko replies.

"That's certainly how it is for me. The repetition and the routine help to clear my head."

Gus laughs and wipes his mouth with a napkin.

"My 'Fortress of Solitude'* is the area directly in front of a heavy bag."

Walter thinks to himself for a moment about Eremit then speaks up again

"I'm not sure what to fully say about him, other than I feel bad for him."
: ...Why? His problems aren't your problems.

"Would you prefer them to humans, though?"
Elu makes a stilted, overly precise attempt at emulating a shrug.

"That's certainly how it is for me. The repetition and the routine help to clear my head."
Coaxoch nods in agreement.
: You would be surprised how much of your life you can skip over by doing the same thing every day for a long period of time. It is like your brain just turns off for years.

Elu makes a stilted, overly precise attempt at emulating a shrug.
"Man, we really gotta work on your gestures," she says, eyebrows raised in amusement. "You gotta be more fluid with the shoulders, like this." She stops what she's doing and demonstrates a more relaxed shrug. "See? Try that."

"I hope you find something better to do soon. Drudgery isn't necessarily healthy,"

Jaakko rubs the back of his head.

"A couple of time I had to suck it up and do something aside from wallow around. Of course I wasn't confined to an airbase while my country disappeared though,"

"Man, we really gotta work on your gestures," she says, eyebrows raised in amusement. "You gotta be more fluid with the shoulders, like this." She stops what she's doing and demonstrates a more relaxed shrug. "See? Try that."
Elu repeats the exact same motion he just did.

"I hope you find something better to do soon. Drudgery isn't necessarily healthy,"
: Sometimes it can be. Depends on what kind of drudgery you are referring to.

Elu repeats the exact same motion he just did.
She just stares for a moment. "...right. We'll work on it."

Cualli turns back to the part she's working on. "So what's your favorite thing to do around here?"
