sorry it took so long i was out watching this yesterday
they say if i keep volunteering there i might get to ride in a b25

mission theme

I keep seeding chaff.
You are able to prevent Snake-Eyes and the rest of your squadron from taking on any further SAMs.

"Firing! Eat stuff!"
I fire all AGMs and start climbing.
I shouldn't allow this at all, but given the circumstances...
It's a total clusterforget. Your plane was clearly never meant to fire this many missiles at once, as evidenced by several of them smashing into each other on or shortly the launch. Another three are shot down by point-defense, leaving "only" five to hit the bow of the ship.

I fly towards the ship after the salvo of AGM's and fire my ASM
With the point-defense overwhelmed by the barrage of AGMs, your ASM is able to slip in unrestricted.

Bell fires her UAC at one of the point defense turrets on the dreadnought before clearing out by dispersing chaff and turning away.
You destroy the turret.

Tippy and Locke fire everything
Everything is fired except the torcreepes, for obvious reasons.

Fanak's survivor goes in for a gun run on the bridge, and you all get to see the cumulative damage done to the dreadnought. The entire bow area has been reduced to burning scrap and is taking on water.

Having used up my ordnance except for a RGM, I deploy chaff to cover the squad.

"good job guys, The fleet must've seen that for sure!"

"If we take out those two remaining cruisers it'll be an easy clean up for our guys."

"Woohoo! Hey, the superweapon is down!"
I begin the long flight back to the Mercanan fleet to get resupplied.

I'm gonna wait for the fleet to come to me

"Holy forget!"

I roll the aircraft over and head towards the friendly fleet to resupply. While upside down, I remark our handiwork.

"Mjolnir Crash, COMRO, requesting another full load of AGM's,"

So once upon a time Mr. Hurricane was compelled to draw Jaakko. He tried, and almost succeeded many times, but this night, he has done more harm than good.

Yes, I forgeted up his underarms. He had spinal fractures and compression, now he has cancer on the sides of his ribcage. Maybe tomorrow I'll do better work in attempt to give him posture instead of spinal fractures.

Now I bless you with what may or be not be his face.

Oh what oh what went wrong. Well, I carved out his skull, made a guide for proportions, made his face, then started loving with his skull again. Now instead of looking normal he looks like his is Andre the loving giant or suffers from gigantism. This is because his face is fixed to the proportions of his skull, so if you go back and forget with his skull, his face needs to be fixed.

Having used up my ordnance except for a RGM, I deploy chaff to cover the squad.
No SAMs reach their targets.

I begin the long flight back to the Mercanan fleet to get resupplied.
You arrive at the fleet after a while.

"Mjolnir Crash, COMRO, requesting another full load of AGM's,"
"Be advised that you actually have to be present to be resupplied."
Also, now that the most immediate threat has been nullified, you no longer have access to super missile storm limit break.
I'm gonna have to find some kind of balance regarding how many missiles can be shot per player in a turn. Probably around four, maybe six. Eleven is a little ridiculous and broken to be coming from one plane.

: [Oh dearie me. Helm! Full reverse! We'll have to drive this thing backwards the whole way if we have any hope of getting back intact. Fleet, cover our retreat! Frigate-5, Cruiser-2, and all remaining Patrol Boats, come with us. The rest of you, delay the Mercanans.]

Dozens of anti-ship missiles launch from the cruisers, headed for the Mercanan fleet.
: We're seeing that the Dreadnought is retreating. I doubt they'll make it back to port in that state, focus on the forces staying behind.

The non-retreating forces are marked as primary targets on your HUD.

"shame, I was about to light up that bridge."

I continue to deploy chaff for the squad

"COMRO, Hawkeye, requesting three anti-ship missiles."

In reality the number of missiles an aircraft can handle depends on if the missiles can guide themselves, or if the aircraft's avionics package is capable of handling the guidance of so many missiles.

At least, that's how I think it works.

I'd say for this we have a four missile limit, and maybe Artemis increases that by one or two.

No, this thread isn't going to die because the GTO is getting the upper hand.

Bell fires a UAC round into K-8's hull.

I begin my return to the COMRO vessel.

The missiles overtake me.

"Holy stuff! Look at all those ship to ship missiles!"

I stop by the requisition office and request a PAK FA.

The SAM batteries appear to be holding their fire.

You receive the missiles.

Already badly damaged, the Corvette breaks apart and sinks.

I begin my return to the COMRO vessel.
The missiles overtake me.
"Holy stuff! Look at all those ship to ship missiles!"
You see at least three of the smaller vessels go under before the counter-salvo is launched. You get the feeling that even with the Dreadnought gone, the allied fleet is still in trouble.
