I shoot off an AAM after T-1 along with short concentrated bursts of LCP.

Faw presses down on the turbochargers as he zooms to within a short distance before the AAM missiles impact. He cuts the turbo chargers and kicks his nose up to a steep angle to slow himself down to nearly a third of his original speed, while simultaneously popping both flares and chaff. Hopefully he remains on the tail of the Tukreb.

i edited my post badger

I enter a shallow dive, and engage the afterburners. I start evasive maneuvers and drop countermeasures and fire an AAM back at the Tukreb.

"Gods be damned, go the forget away!" I yell at the Tukreb behind me.

I've had just about enough of all the getting in my loving way all the time, and the messing with my targets.

it's fine

"Thanks guys!"
I engage the Tukreb following Shortsword, trying to keep up with it.
You catch up to it, but it immediately outmaneuvers you as it continues to tail Shortsword.

The AAM goes wide, but you land a few hits with the LCP.

Gladiator's hesitation, or attempt at being clever, or... attempt at drama(?) results in the flares coming too late to stop both missiles. The second missile slams into your underside as you pull the nose up. Making matters worse, the force of the explosion throws you off your chase.

The AAM swings around and hits the Tukreb head-on, blowing the roosterpit apart. Gladiator is fortunate to not have suffered the same fate.

"I'm gonna need some help over here."
At this point I'm starting to believe I'm a terrible pilot. Which I probably am.

actually it was more an attempt to speed up really fast to increase my heat signature then slow down incredibly fast (to decrease my heat signature) and pop flares to spoof both missiles while remaining on the tukreb's tail

if I just slowed down and banked to the left I would've lost the Tukreb.

i have yet to get a response from qwepir to a question about the distance between shortsword's aircraft and tukreb 6

Bell looks at the Tukreb behind her.

"That's a bit too close for me, hey Yui, finish the job if it doesn't get hit."

She tilts the stick, rolling the aircraft over into an inverted roll. She deploys a salvo of flares to mask the two AAMs she sends flying towards the Tukreb, before diving down with her turbocharger on.

"Alright."
I try to keep up with the Tukreb, and once I get a clear gun solution, blast him with my twin GAU-8s.

" you're not getting off that easy."

I fire off a HSM and fire more LCP at  T-1

With lack of continuing engagement from Tukreb 3 Tippy pulls hard on the stick towards her and to the right in an attempt to throw off her new tailing enemy (which may or may not be there due to lack of response)

I perform evasive maneuvers, hoping for SOMETHING good to happen.

I reverse the dive and maneuver myself into position to attack Tukreb 4.

"New guy, I'll clear your tail, hold on just a bit longer,"

I punch the throttle and start the dive.

"Thanks, man. I appreciate it."
