"I maintain that point of view. You can't really change the basic structure of the airframe. Not here at least, and not even at McNamara without immense resources that command won't give us. I haven't looked at the Corsair's production details, granted they are more than likely classified, but I would guess that it's airframe is some type of titanium alloy. Most likely with steel or aluminum, and possibly other stuff to cut even more weight and add strength. This airframe, without a doubt, is an aluminum alloy.
