"I hate to be a party pooper. But i couldn't help but notice that Tippy's gun is a lot older."

I lean back in my chair and look at Roger.

"And why would that be a problem?"

"I noticed you have the numbers 1b after your main serial. That means your gun while technically the same model has a single pin system instead of the snap clips on Painters. Essentially your gun doesn't have all the extra steps he had to take."

I throw the 5 dollars back down on the table in front of Painter.

"i'm just going to assume you didn't actually know this but judging from your annoyed facial expression this is just a get money quick scheme you do when other grunts are bored. This win technically goes to Painter."

"Make it fair. Instead of disassembling and reassembling your own pistols, disassemble and reassemble the same one."

"I honestly didn't know."

I look at Painter.

"So. Do you want to go again?"

Bell walks to the mess hall to look for the squadron's new pilots, she finds them and goes up to see what they're doing.

shhh
we may as well be
taya already stated where they were, you are there. not the mess hall.

Actually the dynamic of the conversation would change drastically depending on whether you were outside or not. If you were in the mess hall (which you are not) then you would not see the two aircraft landing, each of which are valued at more money than you will ever hope to see in your entire life.

Seriously this is kind of a big deal.

To some maybe. But we're all dynamic characters with our own motivations yes?

If that was interpreted as "No stop it RP the way I want you to" then I'm sorry but the fact that that particular event was ignored by everybody that wasn't Operator was a little bothersome.

"Nah."
"Speaking of that.. I need to get mine..."

I get up from my seat and take my pistol from my dorm room.
It's an extremely old pistol, the paint is coming off so you can see the metallic parts on some of the edges.
"I think I need a new pistol."
