The Typhoon falls into my sights, and I squeeze the trigger and let off a long burst from my cannon.

Unable to shake you, the enemy fighter is shot down.

I go full speed, and try my hardest to get as close to the AWACS as possible.

I spray the everloving-stuff out of the AWACS with the flak gun.

The AWACS' dish explodes, as do several other structure points. The jamming goes away and your comms are now back, flooded with panicking ground troops.

Looking at the ground you can see the Defenders' relentless advance through the allied line, driving straight over still-firing defensive emplacements and popping Aesthian Tanks like pinatas at a Huit festival.

Either way the post is to imply that i'm looking for trouble.

There is PLENTY of trouble to be found, you just gotta fly back to the AWACS to resupply before you can get stuck in again.
(Heatseekers can't be used against ground targets, and that's all you've got left.)

I swing around and strafe the AWACS once more.

In your enthusiasm, you totally neglect your gun's tempurature and it ends up overheating. The AWACS, badly beaten up, begins what looks like a final descent.

Meanwhile, the ground forces won't shut up.

HUD display shows a Shinden and three Sullas on the outskirts of radar range. Looks like the Kintharian squad you share a base with is coming to lend a hand.

Bell drops both of the UGB-500 bombs from medium altitude onto the advancing tanks before climbing to get out of the way of the incoming squadron.

I go in for a strafing run, and launch all three of my AGM's at the ground targets before climbing with Bell to make room for the incoming squadron.
