It just felt like a natural progression of events. Gojira's also getting a 1-on-1 with the other DM because his character has a trait that is conducive to interacting with the NPCs. I'd like to be able to do this sort of thing for everyone, believe me I hate leaving the other players out in the cold, but I just don't know what to do with the other characters.
i dunno if you want some sort of special thingy your character could do just PM me or contact me on steam or something

That's the intention. Tippy is friends with the technician, which is why she invited her to come back to Kintharia for a while. Yui's got Kintharian islander heritage, so Raiden's resident bigot wants to 1v1 her to reinforce her superiority complex. I just don't know what to do with any of the other guys. Like, the only pilots I can immediately identify as having solid and unique characters are Roger, Tippy's friend (or ex-friend) and sort of shady character; Nick, the enthusiastic and cheerful guy; and Bell, the competent but aloof squad leader. I guess they just haven't interacted with NPCs enough for me to see what they're made of, or maybe I haven't been providing them with enough opportunities to do so.

Roger hangs around a fountain in what he assumes in the town/city square. He sees a vendor selling what look like hotdogs.

"One please. Hold the mustard?" ("I really hope its mustard. Looks a little lumpy")

He looks past the vendor and sees the local law enforcement chatting it up in a little group. ("I wonder what kind of stuff they have to deal with in a tourist area like this. Probably not like it is at home.")

oh no I didn't want to imply that it was a bad thing, I agree that it's just a natural progression of events. one of the characters was just ran dumb insanity (magazines lol), two characters just got whacked, and some of us (me lol) have been absent for like, half the RP. it was just a rumination on the present situation.

She hands you your baggage and flags down a taxi. As you're standing in the arrival pickup area, you receive more than a few odd looks for your choice of headwear, but no comments.

The taxi ride takes you along a road across the river from a decently-sized city. The sun has gone down on the other side, calling attention to the abundance of neon lights and holographic billboards lighting up the city streets.

I look at Yukamo for a little bit. Thinking.

"Sure...but maybe when we get home. Hoodie won't work. the scarf might be more comfortable...unless you're ok with me using my helmet anyway."

A few minutes later and you've arrived at Yukamo's apartment. She points out where the bathroom is and heads to her room to change out of her fatigues.

You pass Jurgen and his pilot friend/handler, but they don't seem irritated by the whistling.

Tippy cleans up around the restroom a little. Its always been a pet peeve of hers when little toiletries were scattered about in some spots. She pulls off the helmet and undoes her hair which flow down to the shoulders when not in a bun, and brushes her hair with a brush from her bag.

*click click click* Tippy pulls out a screwdriver and adjusts her tension accordingly. She rotates it a little to make sure it isn't catching. She promptly takes the military green scarf and wraps it tightly around her mouth and nose then exits the restroom.

"I like the place you have here. You didn't have to invite me you know. you're too kind." Tippy smiles with effort. The eye squinting might be a good indicator.
