I get a lock on VTOL-1, and fire off one RGM while at range. At the same time, I throttle back and prepare to gain altitude after the missile hits in preparation for the new bogies.
The missile begins streaking towards the target. The VTOL attempts to evade but at this distance you have no trouble keeping it within the targeting cone.
Once in range, I try to fire an HSM at VTOL-4.
The craft is destroyed and crashes on the beach.
I slowly bring my aircraft back around, and spray VTOL 2 with my GAUs.
Already on the run and performing evasive maneuvers, you fail to hit the VTOL. The ground targets continue to pin down/blow away the Kintharian marines.
I climb to prepare myself for the incoming enemy aircraft.
You gain some altitude.
: Enemy planes still closing. Patching intercepted comms through now.
: Listen up every-one. These are Aesthian planes flying cover for the enemy. They do not respect the same rules we and the rest of the GTO do when it comes to fighting, if you get shot down they will do their best to kill you. I want you all to stay safe, don't overcommit, and if you find yourself going down, pray that these barbarians will overlook you.
