"I've got you now you sons-a-bitches." I loose two HSMs at two Jags and pull my airbrakes while firing my front lift fan momentarily, slowing my descent and pushing my nose up as I aim for the clouds once more.

I fire off an AAM and more LCP in heavier bursts (at eklund)

I yank the stick back and engage the afterburners, climbing away. I mash the countermeasures button so many times that I've probably fired off enough stuff to spoof two missiles. I jink as much as the aircraft's hampered maneuverability will allow.

The tiny missiles can't have that much fuel, by for ring them to chase me upwards, I hope that I can force them to run out of fuel, and subsequently energy. I pray that it works.

The ESAM drone uplink reads and error for one of the drones, that error is then overtaken by a contact lost.

I send the other drone to attack the Morgenstern. Maybe I can get the drone to ram the Morgenstern, which would almost be more helpful than having it around.

"Goddamnit, somebody hit the Morgenstern now! He's distracted and on me!"

"If I can climb back up to the clouds, I can loop around and hit him, but that's gonna take a moment. Anyone else able to engage that forgeter?"

Tippy isn't about to let that hover-forget get away, she stays on its ass and fires an HSM

TIPPY PLS

I try and spray the kid with some AC5 fire.

"stuff."
I slowly turn around (actually as quickly as this damn thing can but yknow) and bring my guns to bear on the Morgenstern (if I can even keep my guns on it), and start firing the twin GAUs.

: There! There's where the fire's coming from!
Both planes attempt to evade, but are too late doing so, and each take a hit.

: Damn, I can't shake this guy, he's on me like glue! Can anyone help?

Holt holds his fire and breaks off, content at having scared you off with a mere lock warning.
: Sit tight, Eklund, I'm coming to help.
Holt takes aim and launches a pair of JSMs at Walt in an attempt to drive him off.

The VTOL drops another packet of flares as it continues to flee farther and farther from the action.

I try and spray the kid with some AC5 fire.
He returns fire with a blast of cluster munitions from the Shikra's chin-mounted LBX cannon, tearing into your plane all over and even cracking the roosterpit. Miraculously, you yourself remain unharmed after having charged head-on what is more or less a giant anti-aircraft shotgun.
: Got him!
: Well, he's still flying, so you didn't get him good enough yet. Keep an eye out for the other guy going after Rosseau and Ansell if this one turns tail.

You try to catch up with and fire on the Morgenstern, but fail to land any severe hits. The Marines are not pleased to see their strike package attempting to dogfight while their marked targets remain only half-dead.
: [These loving starfishs are leaving us for dead!]

Roger breaks off with Tippy and rocket pods the 4th ground emplacement, still intent on getting the ground targets out of the way

The VTOL drops another packet of flares as it continues to flee farther and farther from the action.
"Yeah i bet you're just loving full of those."

Tippy quits pursuit and makes a beeline for emplacement 1 firing an AGM

I climb back to cloud level, loop around, and dive towards the preoccupied Morgenstern, firing off another HSM and opening up with the RAC in controlled bursts while throttling up.

"Gods! Twenty loving lock signals from the Morgenstern!" I cry.

I pull out of my climb and roll over. The Morgenstern is moving to assist his buddy with the drone. I order it to attack the Morgenstern, still wondering if I can get the Drone to ram it so we can be done with that loving aircraft.

"Tippy, some advice, if you're going to shoot things that are in the air, shoot the loving Jaguars,"

Fear takes hold on my body. This stuff is getting scary, the Marines are getting mauled, and the air cover team is have a hard time trying to break through their air cover. I look to the P3, our most powerful coaxial. It's still down.

"If someone downs Eklund, then we can get the Morgenstern unopposed, in turn with him occupied, the strike force is ours to maul, sound good? We'll have to do this loving quickly,"

i'm still on the trip so if I don't post just do the routine close air support thing

"[Ark's sake.]"
I abandon the Morgenstern and instead strafe what's left of groups 3 and 4.

"[Oh, stuff!]"
Bullets fly around the roosterpit, but I'm unscathed.

I decide to go for Elkund, who seems to be a fair opponent. I try to get on his tail. (if I do) I launch an HSM at him, while trying to hit him with AC5 fire.
