He takes a quick glance around to see if anybody is hur or needs help.

*hurr-hurrrr* a blown in half soldier quietly cries outstretching his hand for some hur

Tippy scrambles back up to her feet after being knocked down and rushes over to Yui.

"Are you okay?"

Faw (right after "fixing" his bed with a length of pipe and some duct tape) rushes over to the impact zone of the mortar shell. He takes a quick glance around to see if anybody is hur or needs help.

Outside, it doesn't look like people are injured. The mortar landed out in the open near the gym building, and it doesn't look like anyone was around to be injured by the shell itself. Inside, however, there may be people with wounds related to broken glass.

I see Tippy rush over to Yui. I follow her.

"What happened?"

The Thai pads protect Gus from most of the dangerous glass shards. However, a ruler sized shard manages to sneak through and lodge itself in his thigh. Beyond minor cuts and the aforementioned shards, he escaped most of the damage.

[Mr. Hurricane]

Jaakko grabs his head. The mortar didn't do anything but upset his headache.

"Agh, forget!" He yells, holding his head.

He checks himself for injuries, and winces in pain as his head throbs. He brushes glass off himself.

"I think- ow- so."
I try standing up, but when I'm up, quickly fall to my knees.
"I'd say we should- ghah- get a medic."

You're told that medics have been dispatched already, and almost on cue, they come through the gym door. The first thing they notice is Gus, with a big shard of glass stuck in his leg, and go to attend to him first.

No, it's just a side project. Me and xk are going to attempt to play 40k using vassal with abs fiesta factions and see if its balanced. We're also considering (once its balanced and ironed out) using said games to represent battles actually taking place in-universe that may have minor influence on the story. If anyone else is willing to learn how to play they could join in too but this thread is still going to be about planes and pilots.
