The radio is absolutely silent. Gus mutters some foul curses under his breath at Sabre. "Shortsword, advise? The cruisers are moving towards low density development, should we reprioritize to their engines?"

"Make sure you don't make the first cruiser crash into that bridge, you're free to engage the other two."

Gus drops altitude and fires off two AGMs at the right engine on Cruiser 3.

Bell requests 10 AGMs whenever she gets to the AWACS
You receive 10 AGMs, which is more than these loadout cards were prepared for.

I dive down and head around  the front of the cruiser.
I try to escape the impending wrath of the turret.
You both choose to dive down and fly under your respective cruisers, intending to face the PD turrets below rather than the SAMs up top. Minor damage is sustained, and you are now behind the cruisers.

Gus drops altitude and fires off two AGMs at the right engine on Cruiser 3.
The first missile is taken out by the point defense, and the second knocks out half of the levitation plates.

I fire off two AGMs each at the front maglev and right maglev on cruiser 3.

Gus breaks off. "Why haven't they scrambled air forces yet?"

Gus' question prompts Richard to swivel his head around in search for a possible air defense group.

"I'd imagine the airbase charged with defending this city is some ways away from here. If that were the case, being down a couple of early warning radars probably increased their response times. Either way, we need to break our guys out and wrap things up."

Richard fires all three beam weapons at cruiser 3's port engine.

Bell starts the trip back to the battlefield.

"stuff, I'll move to take out Cruiser Two's SAM turret, but those anti-air vehicles are going to be a problem."

Tippy despite having taken damage from the volley of AA fire, comes back around for another run. This time sending an AGM towards the AA on the main deck.

Jaakko shoos the dogs away and returns to Yukamo.

"Gods, why'd you pull a gun on them?"

I fire off two AGMs each at the front maglev and right maglev on cruiser 3.
Three of the missiles slip through the point defense, doing the most damage to the central levitation array.

: The Huits do have fighters in the air, they just haven't sent any towards us yet. Raiden gets the honor of dealing with that rabble.

Richard fires all three beam weapons at cruiser 3's port engine.
The beams deal a pretty hefty blow to the engine, and with over half the levitation plates knocked out, the cruiser is now no longer capable to maintain its defiance of gravity. Slowly, but surely, it begins descending towards the river as escape pods begin firing off.

You are now back on the field.

Tippy despite having taken damage from the volley of AA fire, comes back around for another run. This time sending an AGM towards the AA on the main deck.
The AGM knocks out the next AAA without a problem. The skies are getting much safer. The ground is just as unfriendly, however, as your pal reminds you.
: Excellent job scaring off those flying bunkers, but in case you didn't notice we're still getting pounded down here!

Jaakko shoos the dogs away and returns to Yukamo.

"Gods, why'd you pull a gun on them?"
: First of all, I didn't actually get to pull the gun out before I realized it was your dog. I wish I had, though. If I was that slow and that was an attack dog that got in here, I would be dead and you would be too. Why don't you get them a leash or a kennel or something?

Jaakko scowls.

"The kennels here are tiny, and why should I leash them if they can't get off base anyway?"

"Tippy, Walt, you guys pull back and assess on the situation on the ground, if they want a route cleared to the highways then we'll start bombing targets in that direction."

Bell starts a run perpendicular Cruiser 2's port side and fires off three AGMs at the SAM turret on top.

gojira's 3 used missiles arent accounted for

Gus reminds himself to thank them for that. He drops three more of his AAMs and radios the AWACS to get 5 more AGMs.

He scowls. Ground strike. Where is the honor in firing missiles from the air at tanks? At least the cruisers had a fighting chance to shoot back.

You mean to tell me victory itself is not honorable enough?
