Markus starts strafing the hangars, lining up each one individually and blind-firing an HSM at one of them after lining up.

It appears your prayers have been answered, because the Shikra opens fire on the building with a pair of AGMs and a salvo of heavy rockets, resulting in sporadic but serious damage to floors 97-105. On a more unambiguously bright side, it has slowed down to do so, and you will catch up to missile range in 2 turns.
