Yui wonders how long she'll be in critical care, then how long she'll be in the med bay.

"I suppose it was."

Gus leans back in bed with his hands on his head, eyes closed.

"And now I'm laid back up here. Again. And this time, it'll really suck to pop the stitches."

Walter looks up at the mention of Virvel and finally speaks up
"uh... Sorry about when we were at the bar awhile ago. I wasn't expecting her to bother you like that."
: Don't worry about it, you couldn't have known.

"I've never really talked with pilots much, but I see them sometimes in the hangar while I'm working." She pauses to think. "Virvel's the one who seems kind of crazy all the time, and Frisk is the one with a cigarette practically glued to his mouth, right? From what I've seen and heard of them, they do seem like a handful."
:  Yeah, that's them alright. I always thought they were friends, but Virvel didn't even seem to care when he got shot. It even sounded like she thought it was funny how he panicked and ran after being, you know, electrocuted and burned.

He shifts uncomfortably in his seat.
: Oh, uh, and on the subject of apologies, sorry about what happened with you and Pansar.

Jaakko wakes up and heads out to the mess hall. He looks around and sees if there is anyone there.
All of Raiden is present, as is Xiaomei.

: 'Least you're not as bad off as Frisk and the other one. They're both in the CCU, no visitors.

"Did they both get hit with that turreted PPC? I saw the burn marks on Yui."

"Oh, that?" Cualli grins. "I had it coming, honestly. Besides, it wasn't your fault, so no need for you to apologize."

"While on the subject of that, though, how do you feel about Elu being in here?" she asks. "Not looking to start a debate or anything, just... curious."

: Don't worry about it, you couldn't have known.

Walter rubs his brow and cheek as he listens

"Wait, what happened with Pansar?"

Jaakko picks up some food and goes to Raiden.

"Mind if I take a seat with you guys?" he asks to anyone in particular in Raiden.

"Did they both get hit with that turreted PPC? I saw the burn marks on Yui."
: Yeah. Nasty business, that. They're lucky they ain't dead.

"Oh, that?" Cualli grins. "I had it coming, honestly. Besides, it wasn't your fault, so no need for you to apologize."

: He didn't like the idea of sharing a temple with a thinking machine, and... overreacted. For the record, I don't have a problem with it attending temple services, it's just some people would. I guess I could ask the priest what he thinks...

Yamashiro temporarily pauses the conversation she was having (in Kintharian, of course) to gesture to an open seat.

"I suppose that wouldn't hurt," she admits, frowning. "It's just much easier to take him here to services instead of reading to him every day. I mean, I don't mind reading to him, but he wants me to keep reading on and on..." Cualli looks to the front of the temple. "But I suppose we probably should see if the priest is even okay with having a robot in the temple."

"Ah, thank you," he replies.

Jaakko takes the seat but does not interject into the conversation. Not that he could, to boot.

"I don't see how you could argue against having a machine in here, it doesn't make very much noise."

"I've heard stories. If you see Yui or Frisk, tell them I said hello and get better."

: I guess it depends on if you believe artificial creations are capable of spirituality. Having a robot praying at the temple could very easily be seen as mockery, and it opens up a whole debate as to how developed a machine has to be to be allowed to take part in a congregation. ...I can already see the stubborn, sarcastic types bringing kitchen appliances to temple in protest if a robot was allowed to worship. Not here, of course, I mean if it was at a regular civilian temple.

"Ah, thank you," he replies.
Jaakko takes the seat but does not interject into the conversation. Not that he could, to boot.
: Sorry again that we couldn't keep everything off of you and your allies.

"I've heard stories. If you see Yui or Frisk, tell them I said hello and get better."
: Will do. Of course, you're probably going to see them before I do.

Cualli seems somewhat amused at the thought. "Yeah, that would probably happen. But regardless, if they're self-aware like Elu, then they should be allowed to attend. And really, it shouldn't be much of an issue on this base because I'm pretty sure Elu is the only sentient robot here."

"There's certainly a lot of tangents to the situation."
