Tippy catches the cadets full weight as he stumbles into her and she keeps a grip on his collar, pistol pointed at his back.
"Let's go."
Tippy guides him out the door.
Jaakko follows Tippy out and stands near the bus stop, remaining vigilant for any Imperials, or perhaps Gaffe to come along.
The cadet is brought aboard the VTOL without any ambushes going off. Pansar looks up from his seat.
: Wrong one.

"Don't look at me. The Major has gone soft."

Tippy points to Pansar on board and tries speaking to the cadet

"You see this guy? This man will tear you in half if you try anything. And our medics won't do stuff about it. Hell, they might join in. So stay put and don't try anything."

Gus looks over towards the party and notices a new face - a pilot, not much more than a kid, in an Imperial flight suit.

"That's not Gaffe. What are we gonna do with him?"

Gus gestures towards the cadet with his rifle.

"Both Gaffe and this guy are Imperial. I guess I didn't know, they're all so alike," Jaakko retorts.

He looks for Gaffe's approach, becoming impatient.

"Rask and Tippy wanted to kill him in the store and leave him there. I wasn't about to witness a murder,"

"If we crash because of the extra weight I will haunt you in the afterlife."

Gus looks out for Gaffe then scoffs at the cadet again.

"Should have just left him. I'm sure he'd prefer getting flattened to being interrogated and then sent to a POW camp."

Virvel looks back through the cabin.
: Yeah, yeah, how noble of you, now can you go get the right forgetin' guy so we can blast off already?

"If Gaffe doesn't turn up in five minutes then I'm going to rename this one Gaffe and we can all call it a day,"

Jaakko gets on the radio.

"Gaffe, hurry the forget up,"

Gus opens his mouth to reply, then seems to think the better of it and shrugs with a grin.

"Gaffe, hurry the forget up,"
Gaffe hurries the forget up and is aboard the VTOL within ten minutes. All too content to stop pressing her luck with the damaged engine, Virvel returns everyone to the Tordenskjold.

"...you were considering killing him? For Ark's sake, he's a kid!"
Markus looks at the cadet from the cot, concern in his eyes.
"[You okay?]"

"I would call it a mercy killing. He was gonna get bombed or he was going to end up in POW hell. Rask was getting ready to waste everyones time with his little cherry tree chopper anyway."

"...he doesn't deserve to have a life after the war? Again, he's a kid. Executing him with an axe doesn't help anything."

"...he doesn't deserve to have a life after the war? Again, he's a kid. Executing him with an axe doesn't help anything."

Tippy shrugs and starts wiping down her assault rifle with a cloth

"I was gonna cap him. Its better than being a prisoner living a mundane possibly endless life in a camp. But who am I to judge, i'm sure he'll love it."

"I'd take living in a POW camp and seeing the end of the war to dying - unarmed, alone, and terrified - any day. "

Tippy waves Markus off and stares out a window to end the conversation. Her reflection stared back, faded in the window and reminded her of her jaw. Tippy rubbed her jawline a little bit and thought of how if things had gone a different way. She then looked at the sobbing imperial cadet and for a moment felt a tinge of pity.

You were like that once. Well, almost. Your entire jaw was blown off and it hadn't started to hurt yet. She thought to herself

Tippy wasn't sure if the medics had checked him out yet or even cared to so she shoved her rifle at Markus.

"Hold this."
