If it's comfortable, all the buttons are easily reachable, and it feels nice to use it, I really couldn't care less how bad it looks.

It's actually really loving good.
Like, almost as good as the xbox 360 controller in terms of durability, and the responsiveness is perfect.
Plus, there's a switch on the back so you can choose between xinput and directinput, which means it's compatible with pretty much every PC game that uses a controller ever.
It doesn't have wireless or rumbling though. Those are in the more expensive f710.

I don't like the placement of the action buttons, because thats where every other controller had an brown townog stick.

But I'm sure with time you'd get used to it. I like it a lot besides that.

For me comfort isn't a problem. I regularly play games on a 3DS. It's literally a rectangle with buttons.

The controller itself does not look uncomfortable. It looks like the sides mesh with your palms.

What else are they going to do? Sony did shapes instead. Also abxy is easy to remember and its just becomes so commonplace that switching it would see silly by now.

Yeah that was the older one. On this one, however, it looks like the one on the left could just be a d-pad.
