same song, better score, and he's gotten 1125% more pp than i did.
It's also based on other songs that you've done that are on your top ranked.
If you have a ton of insane songs on your top ranked and that song wasn't as hard as the other songs you got more PP for, then you aren't gonna get the same amount of PP as someone who doesn't have a lot of songs on his top ranked.
There is also an extremely big difference when it comes down to letter grade and mods.
If you get an S usually you will get a stuffton of PP. If you finish a song and beat one of your top ranked with mods on such as hidden, hard rock, flashlight, you will get even more PP.
If you want to rank up quickly, you should try going for a perfect score SS or just an S.
If you already have a perfect score and still want more PP, try adding mods and beating it again with a perfect score but with added mods as well.
